Cupcake Polish: Fruit Salad Trio (LE)

Welcome back my lovelies, I hope you all had a really nice relaxing weekend.  I spent most of my weekend cleaning, swatching and dealing with a toddler with a bad cold. For today's post I have a gorgeous trio from Cupcake Polish to share with you, read on to find out more...

These beautiful polishes are the Fruit Salad Trio a limited edition set that was released near the beginning of the month. Luckily the lovely Annette from Rainbow Connection managed to get a few sets and I snapped them up as soon as I could.

One In A Melon

The first gorgeous polish in this trio is called 'One In A Melon' a beautiful bright pink with an intense gold shimmer. This was fully opaque in 2 coats and has a really lovely formula, this will definitely be one I will break out for Summer.

Honey I Do

The second polish is 'Honey I Do' a gorgeous lime green with blue shimmer and packed full of iridescent flakies. This took 2-3 coats to be fully opaque and was on the thick side so you may need to do some adjusting so those flakies don't stick up on the nail. A good layer of top coat smooths everything out and gives it a lovely shiny finish.

I Cant-elope

The final polish in this trio is 'I Cant-elope' a beautiful bright orange with pink shimmer, iridescent flakies and scattered holographic. This was fully opaque in 2 coats and levelled out nicely, the formula was easy to work with and smooth with a nice layer of glossy top coat.

Overall I love this trio the polishes are beautiful and applied really nicely, all three of these polishes are going to be fantastic to wear during the Summer. This trio was a limited edition batch, they are still available from Rainbow Connection £11 per bottle. If I had to recommend just one I would probably go for One In A Melon, it is a beautiful bright pink and would look great on all those upcoming beach days.

I would love to know your thoughts on this trio, let me know which one you would choose in the comments.

Hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you back here later this week.
