Digit-al Dozen Does Recreating Your First Blog Post: Day 3

Happy Wednesday everyone, we are half way through yet another week Woohoo! Today's blog post is day 3 for this months Digit-al Dozen does Recreating Your First Blog Post. Read on to see what mani I recreated from my very early blogging days. 


This time I chose to recreate the first mani that I ever used the gradient stamping method, I really should use this more as I love the effect you get with this technique.


The original mani was created using Born Pretty Store stamping polish, but as you all probably know by now I am a huge Esmaltes Da Kelly fan so this time I chose to use those. The way to do a stamping gradient is to place each colour in stripes over your image and then scrape to blend the colours. 


The stamping image comes from Fab Ur Nails Fun 13 and the gradient I used was a sort of sunset themed gradient. I definitely should try and use this technique more in my future mani's. 

So there we have it another recreation, I am really enjoying this week it has been really fun looking back and seeing how far I have actually come.
