Opulent Essences New Chameleon Polishes- Swatch & Review

*Press Sample*

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a great week. Most of mine has been spent running around after my little girl. Now that she is up on two legs there is just no stopping her, as I type this she is running off into her room to create some kind of mischief. Today's post is all about the two brand new multi chrome polishes you can now pick up from Opulent Essences. Recently Sharon messaged both me and Becca from A Certain Becca Nails to see if we would like to swatch some of her new polishes. I was over the moon and felt completely honored to have the chance to do this.

The two polishes I have for you today are the brand new multi chromes that have recently been added to the shop. I am not going to lie these were a pain in the bum to photograph, I tried to capture the shift as much as I possibly could.

The first polish is called Raspberry Sorbet Chameleon, this is a multi chrome polish that shifts from a dusky pink to gold to purple. This is fully opaque in two coats and dries incredibly fast, I would suggest being careful when applying this one as too much manipulation can cause streaking.

The second polish in the multi chrome line is called Red Chameleon, this shifts from a red to pink to blue. This was also opaque in two coats, formula was easy to work with and dried fast just like Raspberry Sorbet.

Both of these polishes were really easy to work with and would literally change colour just by moving your hand into a different position. As with all Opulent Essences product these are both 5 free, vegan friendly and not tested on animals. I didn't have any problems with removal and neither of these polishes caused staining to the nail.

These two lovely multi chromes are available on the Opulent Essences Etsy store which I will link below along with links to their social media. For the 5ml bottle it costs £3 and the full 10ml bottles are £5. I would definitely suggest picking these up if you love that multi chrome affect.

A big thank you again to Sharon and Zoe for sending me these gorgeous polishes to try, great polishes as always ladies, I hope all of you are having a fab nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.

Spring Fling Manicure Using Danglefoot Nail polish Moonriver

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you are all having a great week so far mine has been full of nail mail so I am one happy nail addict right now. Today's short post is going to be my simple elegant manicure using one of the beautiful polishes from the Spring Fling box.

The polish I chose to use today is Moonriver, this gorgeous sky blue crelly was the perfect colour for my Spring manicure. This is fully opaque in 2 coats and so easy to work with on the nail, it looks gorgeous in the sunlight and the subtle pink shimmer is stunning when in the right lighting.

Because Moonriver is so pretty on its own I didn't want to do too much to take the eye away from the actual polish. For my stamping I used Mundo De Unas white and an image from the Yay Spring! plate from Uber Chic, this image can be used as both a french tip and closer to the cuticle as a half moon.

To make the nail really pop I added a silver rhinestone between the stamping and my cuticle, to stick this on I added a tiny blob of top coat and used tweezers to place my rhinestone in place. I then top coated my whole design to seal it all in.

I really love how these turned out you can still see the true beauty of the gorgeous Danglefoot polish, and according to my mum it looked very elegant and sophisticated with the stamping and the gem. I think that is the first time my mum has ever used those two words when speaking about me.

I hope you liked this quick post and would love to know your thoughts on my simple Spring mani, as always I hope you are all having a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.

Spring Fling UK Indie Box-Swatch & Review

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a fab weekend, it was my 7 year Anniversary so I had a lovely night in with my boyfriend whilst my Mum watched Lexi at her house. A very chilled and relaxing weekend, I also used my free time to swatch these 3 beautiful polishes that came in the Spring Fling indie box. This is an all UK indie brand box, 3 fabulous UK indie brands collaborated to come up with this really unique box for Spring.

The 3 brands that came together to create this box are 'Ard As Nails, Danglefoot nail polish and Luna Loves Lacquer. Inside the box we had 3 unique limited edition polishes and a hand cream from Soap Dodger who also own 'Ard As Nails. It came in some lovely packaging and the polishes were well secured on their journey.

The polish from 'Ard As Nails is called Blushed, this is a terracotta linear holographic, it takes two coats to get full opacity. The holo in this polish is quite subtle but it has a easy to work with formula just like all the other 'Ard As Nails polishes I have tried. I am not quite sure about this polish on my skin tone, for some reason any shade of orange makes me look deathly pale.

The polish from Danglefoot is called Moonriver, this is a stunning sky blue crelly with holographic flakies, it also has a slight pink shimmer but it only shows up in certain lighting. It takes two coats to be fully opaque and was an easy formula to work with. I love this colour so I knew straight away I would love this polish, my Auntie also liked it so I spent part of my Sunday painting her nails with this polish.

The last polish in the Spring Fling box was from a brand I have been wanting to try for quite some time. this is called Mariposa from Luna Loves Lacquer. Luna Loves Lacquer is created by Elaine De Vries (Elaine Nails) who I have been watching on Youtube for quite some time. This gorgeous polish is a light lilac linear holo with flakies that change colour in different lighting. I managed to get this polish fully opaque in 2 coats, and the formula was really easy to apply. I definitly want to try some more polishes from this brand, as they are always very unique and pretty.

The last item in the box was this Soap Dodger hand cream, this is called butter love hands. The fragrance I received in my box is Kelieher's Karma, the scent is more floral to me than anything else. It has quite a thick consistency but when applied to the hands doesn't leave them greasy and soaks into the skin quickly. I definitly look forward to using this each night before getting into bed as I have been suffering from dry skin lately.

This was the first box from these three creators and I think they are planning to do more in the future. The full price of the Spring Fling box was £25 including shipping, for 3 full sized polishes and a hand cream product I feel it was definitly worth the money. I really do hope they make more of these collaborated boxes in the future and I look forward to seeing what else each brand can come up with.

I will leave links for all 3 Indie makes down below so you can go have a look at all of their great products.

Danglefoot Nail polish Limited edition Captain Swan Duo- Swatch & Review

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all been having a good week so far. I can not believe that tomorrow is Friday the days just seem to be flying by so fast. Today's post is an extra special one for me as I actually helped design these stunning polishes with the fabulous Hayley from Danglefoot nail polish. As you may or may not know I am a massive fan of the TV show Once Upon A Time, I pretty much love all the characters but my two favourite are definitely Emma Swan and the very yummy Captain Hook. I love the chemistry between these two actors, and I can not wait to see what the show comes up with for these two in the future.

These two stunning polishes are called Hook and Swan, I contacted Hayley a few weeks ago asking for some custom polishes and instead of these just being available to me she released them as a limited edition duo in her shop.

First up is the stunning hook also known as Killian Jones, me and Hayley both agreed that this polish should be a gorgeous blue. Just like Hook's stunning baby blue eyes. In the end we decided on a blue holographic with silver flakies which make it perfect, this is fully opaque in 2 easy to apply coats and built up fantastically.

To show you just how holographic and amazing this polish truly is I took a picture with flash. This truly comes alive when you are outside in the sunlight.

The second gorgeous polish in this duo is Swan, this is for the main character from the show Emma Swan. When I think of Emma I always think of her awesome red leather jacket, so this baby is a dark red holographic with gold flakies. The gold flakies were the perfect edition to this polish and a great way of putting Emma's long blonde hair into the mix which is something she is also known for. This polish is opaque in 1 coat, yep you read that right this stunning polish is a one coater.

When pictured with flash it really makes those gold flakies shine and you can see that gorgeous holographic effect.

Both of these polishes turned out better than I had even imagined, Hayley did such a fantastic job with these. Both polishes has fantastic formula is easy to apply and neither one of these leaves staining once removed. They were released on Tuesday night for £13 and they sold out in 12 minutes, Hayley is thinking about making a few more so I would highly suggest keeping an eye on her Social media pages if you didn't manage to grab them on the first go round.

I will leave all of Danglefoot's social media links and her Etsy shop link below, she is going to be collaborating with a different person each month to create Limited Edition Once Upon A Time duo's. So if you are a huge fan like me keep your eye's open for those. I believe my awesome nail blogger friend Becca will be making Rumple and Belle with her in the future, I can not wait to see what they both come up with. My collection will not be complete until I own every Once Upon A Time character in polish form!

As always please feel free to leave a comment below, I hope you are all having a great nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.

Opulent Essences In The Mood Swatch & Review

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. Me and Lexi didn't get up to much just a trip to town and a delicious roast dinner at my Nan's house on Sunday. The polish that I have to show you today is one of my favourite kinds. I love wearing thermal polishes and can not stop putting my nail in and out of cold water to see the colour change. Today's thermal polish is called In The Mood and was created by the lovely Sharon and Zoe from Opulent Essences. Let's get into the swatches and see just what this stunning polish can do.

I loved working with this polish it applied really easily and reached full opacity in 3 coats. The formula is more jelly like than creme so it looks very squishy on the nail.

When this beautiful polish is warm it takes on this gorgeous bubblegum pink colour.

After the polish has been exposed to a cold temperature it changes to a deep royal purple. The change in the colour is so fast I couldn't capture it quick enough to see the whole nail with the purple colour. It is absolutely beautiful when it is in transition as you have a lovely deep royal purple on the tips of your nails.

For the stamping I wanted to try and make it look like it would disappear when put into the cold water, the image I chose is from Uber Chic Collection 1 plate 1. So that the stamping would fade out when cold I used Born Pretty purple shimmer polish which was the perfect colour to allow the stamping to fade away.

I really do love thermal polishes, they make me feel like a kid watching a magic trick. I was really impressed with the formula for In The Mood and the colour shift was instantaneous when exposed to the cold. This lovely polish is available in the Opulent Essence Etsy store now. All of their polishes are 5 free and vegan friendly, I will leave all of their social media links and a link to their store for all of you below. For a 10ml bottle of In The mood it is £6, plus shipping costs. I always get great customer service when dealing with Opulent Essences, my packages have always arrived within 3 working days and are wrapped up securely so their is very little risk of breakages.

I hope you have enjoyed this post, please let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. As always I hope you are all having a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.

For Your Nails Only Tantalizing Turquoise Spring Mani

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend. Thankfully Lexi is now feeling much better, she is back to her usual bubbly self which is great to see. Today's quick post is a Spring manicure using the beautiful turquoise polish from For Your Nails Only's Enchanted Holo collection. This gorgeous turquoise creme that leans more green than blue was the perfect base for my Spring time manicure.

As this polish leans more on the mint side I felt it would go perfectly paired with some daisies and a chequered picnic blanket pattern. Definitely makes me think of Spring.

For the daisy pattern I used Born Pretty Store's plate number 46, this was perfect for the look I was going for. I stamped them on using Born Pretty white polish and used Opulent Essences Lemon and a dotting tool to add the middle of the flower. Then to finish off my manicure on my other nails I stamped the picnic blanket image from Uber Chic collection 2 plate 2. there are so many pretty images on this plate and I can not wait to create some more looks with the entire collection.

I really love how this turned out and I love how Tantalizing Turquoise looks with these images, the Enchanted Holo collection is available now from For Your Nails Only. I will leave all of her social media links below so you can go grab some of these beauties for yourself.

I hope you have enjoyed my quick nail art post today and that you are all having a fab nail day. Chat to all you lovely people again soon.

For Your Nails Only Enchanted Holo Collection- Swatch & Review

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you are all having a good week so far. Sorry for the lack of posts over the last few days, my little girl has a viral infection and is very clingy so doing my nails hasn't been possible. I am hoping today's post will make up for that, I recently purchased For Your Nails Only's first collection of nail polishes. I have reviewed Sharon's amazing cuticle balm before so could not wait to get my hands on this beautiful collection called The Enchanted Holo collection, let's get straight into the swatches!

The Enchanted Holo collection consists of 6 stunning polishes all containing lots of glitter and holographic goodness. All polishes are 5 free, animal and cruelty free as well as vegan friendly, there is a lovely array of colours to choose from and each one is very unique.

When I received my parcel everything was wrapped up nice and secure, I love the pink and purple baggies that she uses and she kindly sent me one of her lip balm in the scent citrus. This has been really handy lately as the cold wind has been causing my lips to go very dry and split, so this was great to put the moisture back in and I seriously want to eat it when I have it on my lips. She also included a little fact sheet saying what is in the polishes and the best way to apply them, which I found was a great little touch.

The first polish in the collection is called Tantalizing Turquoise, this is a turquoise creme that leans more green that it does blue. You might even be able to count this one as a mint. This is opaque in 2 coats and it has small silver glitters, this does dry slightly textured but a good layer of top coat smooths that out.

This next beauty is called Eminence, it is a deep royal purple jelly packed full of silver and blue glitter. To reach full opacity I did use 3 coats as it was slightly sheer cause of its jelly formula. It went on really easily and dried to a smooth finish.

The next polish is called Funky Fuchsia, this is a neon fuchsia creme with lots of silver glitter and scattered holographic glitter. This is opaque in 2 coats and dries to a smooth finish, the formula was really easy to work with and could even be opaque in 1 thick coat if in a hurry.

The royal blue in the collection is called Sassy Sapphire, this is a blue jelly with lots of silver and holographic glitter. It took 3 coats to become fully opaque and dried to a shiny smooth finish. I really do love how squishy this one looks, I would definitely wear a good base coat with it though as it could cause slight staining if worn without (late at night swatching wasn't the best idea.)

The second from last polish in this collection is called Precious Mulberry, this is a violet creme full of gold and holographic glitter. I loved this colour on my nails as it combines my two favourite colours pink and purple. This was opaque in 2 coats and dried to a smooth finish.

Finally we have Equinox this is a black charcoal jelly with loads of holographic glitter, there is so much glitter packed in here that my camera couldn't handle the bottle shot. Even with its jelly formula this is fully opaque in 2 coats with an easy to work with formula.

I am so happy that I picked up this collection from For Your Nails Only, all of the polishes had a great formula. Even though they are all crammed with glitter none of them caused me any issues when I was removing them, no need to sit there for 10 minutes scrubbing that glitter off. The only polish that caused slight staining for me was Sassy Sapphire, that was mostly my fault as I forgot to put my base coat on before applying the polish.

You can buy this collection now from Sharon by contacting her through her Facebook page or Instagram. I will leave all of her social media links below, the collection can be purchased individually in both mini (5ml) and full size bottles (10ml). The mini's are £3 each and the full size is £5, if you wanted to purchase the entire collection together it is available now for £15 (5ml) and £24 (10ml) at the moment postage is only 80p. For now she is only shipping to the UK and accepting payment through Paypal.

I am so happy to have this collection and can not wait to see what Sharon creates in the future. I have seen that she has some thermals in the pipe line, I will have swatches of them once they are available. As always feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section below, are you thinking of picking up this collection? If so which one is your favourite? I will have some Spring nail art coming up in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled for that. I hope you are all having a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you lovely people again soon.

Danglefoot Mani Bomb Test & Review

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all been having a lovely weekend, my little girl has a viral infection so we haven't been able to do much. Just snuggle up under a warm blanket with lots of fluids and plenty of hugs. Today's quick post is going to be about a lovely mani bomb that Hayley from Danglefoot nail polish sent to me with my last purchase. This is just a sample of the mani bombs she has now begun to sell in her shop.

The mani bomb that Hayley kindly sent to me was scented with citrus, I was really excited when I opened my parcel and I was blasted with the smell of citrusy goodness. This definitely had a very strong scent but it wasn't overpowering, it was well balanced and just simply smelled yummy.

First I removed my manicure with nail varnish remover and gave my nails a quick file, I then got a lunch box sized container and filled this with warm water. I placed the mani bomb into the water and it immediately started to fizz and release the gorgeous aroma of oranges. Once the mani bomb had completely dissolved I placed my hands into the water and let them soak. It felt so good, such a great way to thoroughly treat your nails and hands after a long day. I left my hands to soak for a good 5-10 minutes and rubbed around my cuticles to get rid of any dead skin. When I brought my hands back out they were so soft and moisturised, even though my cuticles had been exposed to acetone not long before they looked perfect.

Hayley has now started selling these in these gorgeous shapes, the hearts are so adorable and the larger ones could definitely be halved to get more out of them. She has started to sell two different scents one is grapefruit and the other is wild-currant and sandalwood. Both scents sound amazing and I will definitely be trying out some more of these beauties. Hayley will be selling her mani bombs for £4 for 100g, this will mean you will get about 5 or 6 mani bombs for only £4 with £1.50 postage. Massive bargain! She will also be offering some loose bombs that will come in chiffon bags, these will contain Himalayan salts so will give you a deep cleanse.

I am so happy that Danglefoot have started selling these, they are the perfect way to relax and give your hands and nails the proper love they deserve. I will definitely be adding a mani bomb once a week to my nail care routine. I will leave all of Danglefoot's social media links below, I would highly recommend checking her shop out. She has some gorgeous neon's for sale so you could grab some polish and some bombs at the same time.

I hope you have enjoyed my quick Sunday post and that you are all having a fab nail day. Chat to all you lovely people again soon.

Opulent Essences Taste The Rainbow Stamping Swatches and Mani

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a fabulous week. Mine has been full of bugs not only was I ill for most of last week and the beginning of this one but now my little girl has caught the bug. I really hope it doesn't stick around as long as it did for me. Today's post is a follow up from the last, in that post I showed you full swatches of the Taste The Rainbow collection from Opulent Essences. I had so many different ideas for manicures that I ended up just sitting down and letting the polish guide me.

This is my first marbled manicure to create this look I used all of the polishes from the collection except blueberry as I felt it would be a bit too dark and over power the lighter colours. For my ring finger and pointer I dropped a few drops of Orange, Strawberry and Lemon onto the top of my jumbo stamper head. I then marbled them together by smooshing the stamper down so the colours blended together. I then took the stamper and stamped the blended colours onto my nail. For the other 3 nails I used Lemon, Lime and Grape and stamped them on using the same method. All nails have a base colour of Color Club French Tip, which is an amazing one coater perfect for nail art.

For the stamping I used a Winstonia stamping plate, this was my first time trying this brand and I have to say I was highly impressed the images pick up really well and are quite unique. I received this plate in a recent Easter swap and I will definitely be checking out some more Winstonia plates, I loved how they had both the positive and negative of the rainbow pattern and how the squiggles went in different directions for both the right and left hand.

As you all know I love my stamping so I just had to see what each of these neon's looked like when stamped over black and white. They don't really show up over black but they are stunning over the lighter colours.

Because I loved this Winstonia plate so much I decided to show you a few designs you could create with these beautiful polishes and the plate. For the first image I placed a small dot of Lemon for the middle then Orange and Strawberry for the outer circles, this is a lovely pattern and creates such a pretty radial gradient. The next image might be one of my favourites, the first polish I used was Blueberry then lime and to finish it off Grape. I scraped once to the left so that the colours didn't mix too much. Then the last image is using the negative rainbow design and all of the polishes except Blueberry, I love this gradient look and think it will be stunning for a full manicure.

I don't know about you but I think this collection from Opulent Essences is fantastic it's so bright and fun, and the fact that they stamp is just the cherry on top. I will be using these polishes for my first try at watermarbling soon, as I think they will create some gorgeous designs.

I hope you like this post I am still not sure whether this manicure is a nail fail or not, sometimes I think pretty sometimes I think what the hell. I would love to know your thoughts so please feel free to leave a comment down below. As always I hope all of you fab people are having an excellent nail day and I will speak to you all again really soon.

Opulent Essences Taste The Rainbow Collection- Swatch and Review

Hello my lovely readers, I am so sorry I haven't managed to write up a post recently. Unfortunately the dreaded bug took a hold of me and was refusing to let go, just looking at a computer screen would make my head pound and my eyes water. Hopefully today's awesome post will make up for it, the collection I bring to you today is from the wonderful Sharon and Zoe over at Opulent Essences. These ladies are always coming up with some fab polishes and their neon collection is no exception. When Sharon first posted bottle shots of these beauties the first thing that came to mind were Skittles, me and Becca from A Certain Becca Nails decided we would call them Taste The Rainbow and luckily for us Sharon loved the name and now we have this stunning collection each named after a fruity treat you can find in a Skittles packet.

This gorgeous collection consists of 6 neon creme polishes that look stunning on the nail and make you want to reach for your sunglasses and hit the beach. I will be doing a post showing how these beauties stamp and a few manicures that might include an attempt at water marbling. Keep your eye's peeled for those, but for now lets get into the swatches.

First up from this fabulous collection is Strawberry, this is a neon pink creme opaque in 3 coats, formula was really easy to work with and this is probably my number one favourite from the collection.

The next polish is called Lemon and oh my god, everyone who passes by will be in awe of this gorgeous highlighter yellow neon creme. This will not build up to full opacity by itself but if you put down a white base and then add 2 coats of Lemon you will be ready to blind people and make them reach for their sunglasses.

The third polish in this collection and my favourite flavor of Skittles is Orange, this is a orange neon creme that builds up to be fully opaque in 3 easy to apply coats.

Blueberry is one of the darker polishes from this collection, it is a cobalt blue creme that is opaque on its own in 2 coats. If you do one thick one thin it does reach full opacity, I would be careful when applying this one the three stroke method is best to avoid getting streaks.

Lime is another one of those eye catching colours from the collection, it will not build up by itself but with a white base and two coats of this your good to go. I can honestly say you can count this as a true neon green creme, it reminds me of the lime sauce my brother would have drizzled all over his ice cream.

The last polish in this collection is called Grape this is a purple neon creme that leans more pink, it is close to magenta but not quite there. I am a huge fan of purple so really do love this one, you can get this opaque on its own in 2 easy to apply coats. Again the formula was fantastic, so easy to work with and didn't have any problems with brush strokes.

Overall I am loving this collection not only are these some of the best neon's I have ever seen but the formula is so easy to work with. None of the polishes cause staining around the cuticle or nail and they all dry with a shiny finish. I did add topcoat for these swatches just for longevity purposes and probably out of habit. Each one of these polishes are available now at Opulent Essences Etsy store, you can buy the full 10ml size collection for £25 or the 5ml mini collection for £15. They are also available separately for £5 per bottle. I am so glad I have this collection and can't wait to rock some of these neon's this summer.

I will leave all of Opulent Essences Social media links below for you to go check them out, their customer service is fantastic and they are such nice ladies. At the present time they only ship to Europe, if your country isn't in the list then you can message them and they will give you a quote for shipping. For the UK it is £2.80 flat rate shipping and Europe is £3.50. If purchasing more than 4 bottles the postage will be slightly higher, all of my packages have always arrived safely and within 2-4 working days.

I hope you have enjoyed today's swatch's and  the review for the Taste The Rainbow collection,I hope that you have all been having a good week so far. As always let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. I am off to chow down on a bag of Skittles, chat to you all again soon.
