July Meebox- Rio Unboxing & Review

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a nice week and have been enjoying the sunshine. The highlight of my week was having a dance with my little girl, she has really gotten into listening to music and having a good boogie. Her idea of dancing is shaking her hands and jumping up and down, it is a very funny site to behold. As we are now near the end of the month it is Meebox time again, this month the theme was Rio. So let's jump straight in.

Sharing The Love For Ane Li

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend. I am going to keep today's post short and sweet, the mani I did today is in tribute to a lovely young nail artist that chose to join the angels on July 11th 2016. Ane Li was a very talented nail artist so in tribute to her, the nail art community has been recreating her manicures and sharing them on social media today. This is my contribution.

Dixie Girl Stamping Plate DP02- Swatch & Review

Hello, my lovely readers, this week has been scorching hot and me and heat do not mix well together. I almost didn't manage to get this post up as I have not been feeling good at all, really can not wait for winter. Today's post is all about a brand new stamping plate brand from Dixie Girl a Blogger and Youtuber. She recently came out with 3 plates that she designed herself, luckily she has a UK supplier so I was able to get my hands on one of her new plates.

Cuter Cuticles Review

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. It is scorching hot here at the moment, a bit unbearable for me as me and heat don't mix. Lexi has been loving the hot weather, lots of paddling pool time and playing in my Nan's and Mum's garden. It is definitely times like this that I wish we had our own garden to play in. Fingers crossed we will have our own little house soon, then Lexi can have her own garden and lots of fun. Today's blog post is all about Cuter Cuticles, so let's jump in.

Pantone 2016 Mani

Hello my lovely readers, well we are at the end of yet another week. I hope you have all had a good one, I've been suffering from yet another bug so not the best week for me. Painted Polish By Lexi Mother's Day Trio- Swatch & Review

Hello. my lovely readers, I hope you all had a relaxing and fun filled weekend. Mine wasn't very eventful yet again, Lexi went to my Mums on Saturday night so I was able to relax and chill for the night. I was also able to swatch these gorgeous Painted Polish By Lexi polishes, this is my first time trying this brand. I won't deny that I was attracted to the brand because another Lexi makes them but I also loved the look of her crellies. So when my mum went to America she brought me back the Crellies Of The Rainbow and the Mothers Day Trio.

Meebox Splash Mani

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a good week. I can't believe that tomorrow will be Saturday again. This week has flown by, in fact this whole year seems to be flying by it only feels like yesterday it was Christmas. For today's mani I will be using all of the goodies I received in June's Splash Meebox. I knew the minute that A England Whispering waves was brushed on my nails it would be the base colour for my manicure.

June Meebox- Splash Unboxing & Review

Hello my lovely readers I hope you have all had a great weekend, I have a case of the Monday blues I think. Can't seem to stop shaking and feeling dizzy, I'm crossing my fingers that I have not picked up yet another bug. Today's post however is bound to cheer up anybody who is suffering from that Monday feeling, it's Meebox time again!

This month the theme was Splash and it was an extra special Indie take over box, all of the polishes are from the fabulous people at A England. This is a high end UK indie brand that sell lots of enchanting and unique polishes. We were also treated to not one, not two but three nail art extras. Let's take a closer look at this stunning box.

The first polish to catch my eye was this gorgeous teal blue holographic, this is called Whispering Waves. It was fully opaque in just 1 coat although if your prefer thinner ones this might need 2, this really does remind me of the ocean.

The darkest polish in the box is called The Blessed Damozel, this is a gorgeous dark plum with a metallic shimmer. This took just 1 coat to reach full opacity, it has a beautiful pink shift which is very hard to capture on camera but stunning in person.

The last polish in this special A England take over box is called Gloriana, this is a beautiful ruby red with gold glitter. For my swatch I did two coats to reach full opacity, the formula was easy to apply and it looked like I had fire on my nails. I Really do love this polish which did surprise me as I am not normally a huge fan of the colour red.

The first extra in this months box is some Mess No More liquid latex tape from Mini Mani Moo, this is used as a barrier around the outside of your nails. This helps reduce the amount of clean up time after applying a gradient or some stamping. I have heard really good things about this so will definitely be trying this out soon. You can pick Mess No More up from the Mini Mani Moo website for £9.45.

The extra we received from was the perfect ac-compliment for this box, I have always wanted to try out some mermaid vinyls. Keep an eye out for these in my upcoming nail art. These can be purchased from the nail mail website for £6.95.

The last item in this months box is from She Sells Seashells, these adorable gold shells and silver starfish charms will be the perfect way to finish off any Splash mani. You can pick these cute charms up for £1.50

I was over the moon with all of the products in this months box, the theme was excellent and the A England polishes chosen are beautiful I am so happy to have all three in my collection. I will leave the links to the A England website and their social media down below, all of the polishes I have received from them have had really great formula's. None of these polishes stained for me but I have heard whispering waves can so be sure to use a good base coat with that one.

For those of you who don't know Meebox is a monthly nail subscription box where you receive three different polishes and other nail related items to match that months theme. It is £20 per box or you can sign up for 6 or 12 months and get your box at a discounted price. I will leave all of Meebox's social media links and their website below.

I hope you have enjoyed this months Meebox unboxing, I would love to know which polish is your favourite out of this months box? As always have a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.
