Shine Bright Like A Diamond Mani

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a lovely bank holiday weekend, most of mine was spent laying down as my back gave way on me the other day and I am finding it really hard to move. Fingers crossed things will improve soon, today's manicure is using my goodies from this months Meebox. I wanted to try and do a Rhianna manicure and I took inspiration from one of her songs. Can you guess which one? I used Danglefoot's Higitus Figitus as my base colour, I love this polish it works so well when you want a black manicure but that gorgeous holographic glitter takes it to the next level. Formula is fantastic and applies to the nail really easily, it is fully opaque in 2 coats.  For my stamping I used three different Uber Chic plates, for the large diamond stamping pattern I used collection 2 plate 2. This beautiful full diamond pattern went really well with the Danglefoot polish. The silver stamping polish I used was from Born Pretty and it picked up the

May Meebox- RiRi Unboxing & Review

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend. Today's post is another Meebox unboxing and review, this month Meebox announced that their theme would be Rhianna. I am not a huge fan of her but I do like some of her songs and her nails are always on point in her music videos. Meebox treated us to three nail polishes, a nail strengthening base coat and 2 nail art items. So lets jump straight into this RiRi box! I was over the moon to see the brands that Meebox had chosen for this box, my eyes drifted straight to that gorgeous Danglefoot and I was blown away when I realised that they had chosen a Zoya polish too.  First up is this unique grey creme from Zoya, this is called Leah and has a satin finish it took 2 coats to reach full opacity. This polish isn't personally my cup of tea just because as you all probably know by now I am not a fan of nudes and dull colours. The pictures above are without top coat so yo

Frenzy Polish- If The Apocalypse Comes Beep Me

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend, mine was spent running around after my daughter. She has got to the stage now where she can walk all by herself and is completely refusing to hold any ones hand. So I have invested in a little Ladybird bag with some toddler reins just so I can actually keep up with her, fingers crossed. For today's post I have an indie brand I have never tried before, Frenzy polish. In the big nail swap that I did with Becca from A Certain Becca Nails, she gifted me with one of the polishes from the TV Frenzy collection. I knew the moment she asked me what I would want it would have to be the polish based off of my all time favourite TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. For this manicure I wanted to do Buff proud, luckily I managed to find the company that had some Buffy water decals that I feel tied the whole manicure together.  This stunning polish is called If The Apocalypse Comes Beep Me, it has a gorgeous dee

*Purchased With Blogger Discount* Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the weekend. I seem to have come down with a bad cold at the moment so all my energy is being used to fight it off. Luckily my boyfriend has ten days holiday coming up so I will have him to help me with Lexi, speaking of the little monster. She is now running around getting into absolutely everything, her vocabulary is expanding and the other day she pointed at my polishes and said Mumma pretties. I was one proud nail polish addict mummy to hear her say that. For today's post I will be using some nail vinyls I recently purchased from The Born Pretty Store using a blogger discount. For this manicure I used some of the pointed half moon vinyls and 2 new Barry M polishes I recently purchased from Superdrug. This is a Superdrug exclusive polish from Barry M called Festival Fever, it is a bubblegum pink creme with gold shimmer. This polish

*Purchased With Blogger Discount* Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are all having a great week so far and are enjoying the sunny weather. Today's post is a manicure and review using a Born Pretty plate I recently bought with a blogger discount. I was over the moon when Alice from The Born Pretty Store contacted me recently to review some of their amazing products. For those of you who don't know Born Pretty Store is a online beauty store based in China. They sell many different products, make-up, brushes and lots of beautiful nail art supplies at great affordable prices. Today's post is using one of their nail stamping plates, I have full swatches of the plate and a manicure to go along with it. One of the plates I chose to review was a filled with lots of pretty rose images, I used the plate to create these rose decals to go over Barry M Silver Lining from the Molten Metal line.  All of the Born Pretty plates come with the blue film so that needs to

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. I need to say a big thank you to all of those who joined in with the M.E & Fibromyalgia awareness mani link-up, and a Big congratulations to Jen who won the custom polishes made by Opulent Essences. Thank you for all your lovely comments and good vibes, it's lovely to know there are so many people out there who care. So today's post is going to be a swatch and review for the brand new Barry M's that were released in the last weeks. The collection I have for you today is the Molten Metals. These are four chrome effect polishes, with some gorgeous glitter mixed in for that extra bit of bling. I am not always a big fan of metallic polishes but these are really nice. Great formula for all four polishes and very eye catching especially when out in the sun. The first polish is this beautiful light gold metallic called Gold Digger, this is fully opaque in 2 coats and has some gorgeous glitters in

M.E/ CFS & Fibromyalgia Awareness Day Nail Link-Up

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are all having a great day, I am having a few bad days health wise at the moment. Today's post is my manicure for M.E & Fibromyalgia awareness day which is on May 12th. For this occasion me and Becca from A Certain Becca Nails have joined up to hold a nail link-up to raise awareness for both of these chronic illnesses. This is a cause close to me as I unfortunately have both of them. My post today will not only be about the nails I created for the link-up but also about the personal experience I have with living with these illnesses on a day to day basis. For this mani I used the two different awareness colours for these chronic illnesses, M.E is blue and purple is Fibromyalgia. Butterflies and the hope ribbon are also connected with them too, there is also a theory called the spoon theory. This is where we look at our energy levels as if they are spoons, some days we will have more spoons than others and each activity uses up a

Nailzopia Nail Art Box- Unboxing & Review

Hello my lovely readers! I hope that you all had a lovely weekend in the sun, unfortunately I have been suffering from my migraines again so haven't been able to post for a couple of days. Today's post is a really special one though to make up for it, I have the Nailzopia Nail Art box to show you today. This is a debut nail art box created by the lovely Teena, she recently asked a few of us nail addicts on Facebook if we would be interested in a nail art subscription box packed full of everything you need to create some gorgeous mani's. I jumped at the chance to try her Spring themed debut box, so lets crack this baby open. I was totally shocked at the amount of goodies I received, Teema really outdid herself. Just before she posted the boxes she asked us if we had any specific colours we would like. I obviously said pink and purple and she really did an amazing job. There are 8 sheets of nails foils, 5 packs of gorgeous glitter, water decals, nail stickers, a stampi
