Little Black Dress Nail Lacquer Valentines Day Duo- Swatch & Review

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a really nice weekend. I have been struggling to get rid of yet another bug, so didn't get up to much. When you are feeling utterly awful there is nothing better than receiving some gorgeous nail mail. I was recently contacted by Courtne from Black Dress Nail Lacquer to review her Valentines day duo which will release on the 1st of February. Of course, I jumped at the chance to try a new to me indie brand, so let's take a closer look at this stunning duo!

They are two really great polishes perfect for Valentine's day, one is the typical Valentines day red you would expect to see. The other is a light grey, perfect for wearing all year long and especially a great colour to be work appropriate.

The first polish in the duo is Rose Luxe, this definitely screams Valentines day. It has a bright red coloured base and a gorgeous pink shimmer. I found this polish really easy to apply and it was fully opaque in 2 coats. The formula is on the thin side but not so thin that it will flood your cuticles, This polish is perfect for that day dedicated to love, it will also work all year round if you are a red polish lover. There is also no staining to the cuticles or nail once this polish is removed.

The second polish from the duo is called Posh, this is a beautiful grey creme with lavender undertones. This also has a very subtle pink shimmer, it takes two coats to be opaque, you could even get away with one thick coat with this one. The formula was really easy to work with it wasn't too thin or thick and applied evenly. This polish is a great one to wear for the office environment, or on those classy nights out when you can't wear those bright blingy colours. It's a very classy shade and quite unique to my collection.

I am also pleased to say that these two polishes do actually stamp, not over black but they will show up over lighter colours. As I said these two polishes will be released on the Little Black Dress Nail Lacquers Etsy store on the 1st of February, these will be available separately and in a nice Valentines day gift set. The set will include both polishes and a nail file, a buffer and some cuticle oil. The price is yet to be confirmed but I will update my post when I can.

Black Dress Nail Lacquer is an American indie brand located in Maryland, all of the products are made by hand by Courtne. All polishes are 5 free and cruelty-free, she is also looking into selling cuticle products in the near future. At the moment she has 3 full collections for sale as well as a few duo's and some gift sets. She does offer international shipping so these polishes are available to other countries. I had no problems with customs and they were securely packaged for their journey, so no chance of breakages. I received my package within 5 days from them being posted, so it was super fast shipping. I will leave all the links for Black Dress Nail Lacquer down below as well as their social media.

I was really impressed with both of these polishes they applied really easily and are perfect for not only Valentines day but all year round. Big thank you to Courtne for sending me these to review, let me know which one of the duo is your favourite? I think mine is Rose Luxe, as always have a fabulous nail day and I will chat to you wonderful people again soon.
