Freckles Polish Gradient Manicure Using The Creme's Collection

Image
Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a great week so far. I am loving all of the Summer manicures floating around at the moment. Especially the beautiful gradients, I do love the effect of a gradient but not so much the clean up after. However once I had finished swatching the Freckles polish cremes collection I couldn't resist seeing how well they would blend together. Lets get straight into it! For this paticular manicure I used Oh Boy, Parma Violets and Make The Boys Wink for my gradient base full swatches of these are in my previous post . These polishes blended so well together. I had to do about 3 layers to get the blend of colours I was happy with and to make sure they were opaque. I did put down a white base before sponging my gradient onto my nails. For this I used Color Club French Tip which is a lovely 1 coat white, great for nail art. I also had to add a little bit of glitter so I used China Glaze Fairy Dust to add that little bit of sparkle to the gr...

Hello my lovely readers! Happy St Patrick's day to all, with my family being mostly Irish I knew I wanted to do something special for today's manicure. So when I saw Pretty Serious releasing a limited addition polish called Liquid Leprechaun I knew I had to pick it up. This post is for all of my Irish family and all you lovely people out there that are celebrating this awesome day. I love how this turned out it screams St Paddy's day and that accent nail of Liquid Leprechaun really makes this mani pop. I am sure this will get the seal of approval from my family over seas and at home.  For my accent nail I used the stunning limited edition Pretty Serious Liquid Leprechaun, this is available at Rainbow Connection right now for £6.50.  I think there are only a few bottle's left so hurry on over now to grab yours. Liquid Leprechaun is a jam packed Irish Glitter fest, it has gold and green glitters in many different sizes that all lie in a bright green jelly bas...

Hello my lovely readers! I hope everyone had a lovely Valentines day, today's post is another Colours Collide Challenge I took part in. About two weeks ago I posted a green and purple mani for the last challenge, this time the colours were pink, purple and orange. I could not resist doing a Valentines theme manicure for this one and using my amazing Born Pretty Store stamping polishes . For those who have not read my last post Colours Collide is a group on Facebook that post bi-weekly challenges for nail addicts to take part in. So let's get into what you all came for the nails. For this theme I knew I wanted to use my new Born Pretty stamping polishes so I chose this beautiful dark purple, a dark pink and the pumpkin orange. I wanted to try and do some gradient stamping and I must admit I love how it came out.  First I put down my white base using Cassella Limitless, I do love this polish it applies really easily and is opaque in 2 coats.
