Top 10 Polishes For Christmas

Hello my lovely fairies; I hope you have all had a really nice week and well prepared for the festivities next week. We are now on Christmas break here so starting up all out traditions like watching The Santa Clause movies and making mince pies. So for today's post I have another Top 10 choices to share with you, this time perfect polishes for this time of year.

This time of year there are definitely some staple colours you have to break out of the collection, but I definitely enjoy adding some more unexpected colours to the mix. Let's take a look at what I love from my collection.

'Santa Suit' from Nine Zero Lacquer is the perfect Christmas red glittery polish, it has a bright red jelly base with gold holographic micro glitters. Swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. Such a great holiday time polish and perfect for all those Santa nail art mani's.

Painted Polish By Golly, Be Jolly

'By Golly, Be Jolly' is the perfect holiday time crelly from my favourite brand Painted Polish. This has a white crelly base with red, green, silver and gold glitters. Swatch is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. I am a sucker for a white crelly and this one definitely does bring those festive colours together nicely.

Nine Zero Lacquer Twinkle Lights

'Twinkle Lights' is another Nine Zero classic Christmas polish, it has a sheer linear holographic base filled with multi coloured sheer glitters. Swatch is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. This one is still slightly sheer on the nail so nail line can sometimes be seen but those glitters definitely distract from that fact.

Cupcake Polish The Santa Clause

'The Santa Clause' is from last December's PPU made by Cupcake Polish, it is a multi-chrome burgundy red base that shifts from red to gold to green. Shown is 3 coats plus glossy top coat. This gorgeous polish is a great alternative if you don't want glittery nails but still want a pretty red to wear for the season.

Nine Zero Lacquer Sugar Plum

'Sugar Plum' from Nine Zero is a really pretty alternative to wearing traditional Christmas colours, this has a plum purple jelly base with gold holographic micro glitters. Shown is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat.

Cupcake Polish Deck the Malls

'Deck The Malls' is another great choice from Cupcake Polish, this has a clear base packed full of bright green micro glitters. Shown is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. This is the perfect polish for all those glitter lovers out there and definitely gives those Christmas tree vibes.

Different Dimensions Don't Be The Santa Of Everything

'Don't Be The Santa of Everything' is from Different Dimensions a clear base with red, green and gold circular glitters in different sizes. Shown is 1 coat over a white base but I do think my base has tinted slightly as it is quite old now.

KB Shimmer How's It Growing?

'How's It Growing?' is a new polish to my collection from KB Shimmer's new Love At Frost Site collection. A stunning evergreen jelly base with holographic micro flakes and colour shifting flakies. Shown is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. Another fabulous green polish to break out for this time of year.

Nine Zero Lacquer Ornament

'Ornament' is another fun non traditional colour, it has a pink base with holographic micro flakes and gold flakies that give it that shimmer. Shown is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. A definite fave for me as you can never go wrong with a pink polish.

KB Shimmer Up To Snow Good

'Up To Snow Good' is a perfect snowy polish from KB Shimmer, it has a off white base with holographic glowing flakes and a blue shimmer. Shown is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. A great base for all those wintery mani's.
