China Glaze: Jewels Royale

Hello my lovely fairies; hope you are all keeping well and staying safe. I'm having a few issues with my Fibromyalgia at the moment and the cold weather here in the UK is definitely not helping. So I wanted to get this review out last week but just haven't been well enough to do so. Suppose its better late than never :D so for today I have the Jewels Royale collection from China Glaze to share with you, read on to find out my thoughts on this wintery fun collection.

After seeing the swatches for this collection I knew I must snap it up if I could and luckily it became available a couple weeks ago at Nail Polish Direct, so I popped all of them in my basket and checked out immediately. I can safely say I am glad I did, each polish was lovely to apply and looked beautiful on the nail, there is plenty of different colours and finishes to choose from too. Let's Jump straight in with the first beauty from the bunch.

Ruby Riches

Ruby Riches- is a reddish pink jelly base packed full of gold to red shimmering glitters, swatch shows 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. This one applied really nicely and it such a stunning colour all year round, when removing if your not wearing a peel off base those glitters will get over your skin just as a little pre warning.

Glistening Pearls

Glistening Pearls- is a sheer pink jelly base filled with iridescent flakes and blue shimmer, swatch is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. This is a really unique polish to my collection I don't normally enjoy sheer finishes but this one built up nicely and the shimmer really takes the eye away from the slight visible nail line.

24k Noir

24k Noir- a deep olive green base packed full of gold shimmer, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. Another easy to apply polish and a really pretty colour to wear for these colder winter months. Again a peel off base coat will probably be best with this one or you are gonna be a glitter goblin when removing it.

Ice & Bubbles

Ice & Bubbles- is a champagne gold dense glitter in a clear jelly base, swatch is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. This one built up really nicely without the need for a sponge, its a bit too dense to be a topper but makes a lovely accent nail or an in your face New Years eve mani. Make sure to wear a peel off base or you will be scrubbing for a while with this one.

Stay Frosted

Stay Frosted- is an icy blue shimmer that dries to a matte finish, swatch is 2-3 coats. This is basically Winter in a bottle, a fabulous polish for all those cold winter mornings and really catches the eye.

Sapphire Up!

Sapphire Up!- is a bright sapphire blue jelly base packed with bright blue micro-glitter, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. Another winter winner, reminds me a cold night sky full of twinkling stars.

Emerald Magic

Emerald Magic- is a deep emerald green jelly base with scattered gold glitters, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. This is another deep dark toned polish that is perfect to wear for Winter reminds me a lot of Christmas trees.

Spoil Me Royale

Spoil Me Royale- is a stunning royal purple with a pink shimmer, swatch is 2-3 coats plus a glossy top coat. I probably have tons of these polishes in my collection and I still love each and every one its always a winner for me.

A complete winner for me, even the polishes that I wasn't so sure about ended up winning me over. There is something to suit everyone and such a great colour palette to choose from. If I had to pick favourites it would probably be Spoil Me Royale and Stay Frosted both are just so pretty and jump off the nail.

This collection is available now at Nail Polish Direct for £46.54 and individually for £5.82. Shipping is free on all standard UK mainland deliveries.

Here are some of the nail art looks i've created with this collection, a good mix of Christmas, New Year and winter looks. Two of these are done with the Moyou London Care Bear collection which I will be posting a full review of soon. For more information check out my Instagram
