Through November I have been posting extra nail art looks to Instagram and Facebook, so I wanted to do a quick round-up post here. I am going to try and make this a monthly thing, so that if you don't follow me on my social media platforms you can still see the nail art I have been posting. So let's jump in!

Hello, my lovely readers, I can't believe we are at the end of yet another week. This week has been an exhausting week and now my poor little Lexi is ill too, so plenty of cuddles and kisses. Today's post it a really special one, as I am starting my first nail art challenge. I recently was invited to join the Crumpet Nail Tarts 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge, by fellow blogger Bethany from B Nailed To Perfection . This is a bi-weekly nail art challenge that will last for a whole year, the first prompt is Blue and Silver, so let's take a look at what I came up with.

Shine Bright Like A Diamond Mani

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a lovely bank holiday weekend, most of mine was spent laying down as my back gave way on me the other day and I am finding it really hard to move. Fingers crossed things will improve soon, today's manicure is using my goodies from this months Meebox. I wanted to try and do a Rhianna manicure and I took inspiration from one of her songs. Can you guess which one? I used Danglefoot's Higitus Figitus as my base colour, I love this polish it works so well when you want a black manicure but that gorgeous holographic glitter takes it to the next level. Formula is fantastic and applies to the nail really easily, it is fully opaque in 2 coats.  For my stamping I used three different Uber Chic plates, for the large diamond stamping pattern I used collection 2 plate 2. This beautiful full diamond pattern went really well with the Danglefoot polish. The silver stamping polish I used was from Born Pretty and it picked up the ...

Frenzy Polish- If The Apocalypse Comes Beep Me

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend, mine was spent running around after my daughter. She has got to the stage now where she can walk all by herself and is completely refusing to hold any ones hand. So I have invested in a little Ladybird bag with some toddler reins just so I can actually keep up with her, fingers crossed. For today's post I have an indie brand I have never tried before, Frenzy polish. In the big nail swap that I did with Becca from A Certain Becca Nails, she gifted me with one of the polishes from the TV Frenzy collection. I knew the moment she asked me what I would want it would have to be the polish based off of my all time favourite TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. For this manicure I wanted to do Buff proud, luckily I managed to find the company that had some Buffy water decals that I feel tied the whole manicure together.  This stunning polish is called If The Apocalypse Comes Beep Me, it has a gorgeous dee...

*Purchased With Blogger Discount* Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the weekend. I seem to have come down with a bad cold at the moment so all my energy is being used to fight it off. Luckily my boyfriend has ten days holiday coming up so I will have him to help me with Lexi, speaking of the little monster. She is now running around getting into absolutely everything, her vocabulary is expanding and the other day she pointed at my polishes and said Mumma pretties. I was one proud nail polish addict mummy to hear her say that. For today's post I will be using some nail vinyls I recently purchased from The Born Pretty Store using a blogger discount. For this manicure I used some of the pointed half moon vinyls and 2 new Barry M polishes I recently purchased from Superdrug. This is a Superdrug exclusive polish from Barry M called Festival Fever, it is a bubblegum pink creme with gold shimmer. This polish ...

*Purchased With Blogger Discount* Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are all having a great week so far and are enjoying the sunny weather. Today's post is a manicure and review using a Born Pretty plate I recently bought with a blogger discount. I was over the moon when Alice from The Born Pretty Store contacted me recently to review some of their amazing products. For those of you who don't know Born Pretty Store is a online beauty store based in China. They sell many different products, make-up, brushes and lots of beautiful nail art supplies at great affordable prices. Today's post is using one of their nail stamping plates, I have full swatches of the plate and a manicure to go along with it. One of the plates I chose to review was a filled with lots of pretty rose images, I used the plate to create these rose decals to go over Barry M Silver Lining from the Molten Metal line.  All of the Born Pretty plates come with the blue film so that needs to ...

For Your Nails Only Tantalizing Turquoise Spring Mani

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you have all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend. Thankfully Lexi is now feeling much better, she is back to her usual bubbly self which is great to see. Today's quick post is a Spring manicure using the beautiful turquoise polish from For Your Nails Only's Enchanted Holo collection. This gorgeous turquoise creme that leans more green than blue was the perfect base for my Spring time manicure. As this polish leans more on the mint side I felt it would go perfectly paired with some daisies and a chequered picnic blanket pattern. Definitely makes me think of Spring.   For the daisy pattern I used Born Pretty Store's plate number 46, this was perfect for the look I was going for. I stamped them on using Born Pretty white polish and used Opulent Essences Lemon and a dotting tool to add the middle of the flower. Then to finish off my manicure on my other nails I stamped the picnic blanket image from Uber Chic collec...

Christmas Eve Santa's Sleigh Ride Manicure using Danglefoot Nail Polish Higitus Figitus (2)

Image
Hello again my lovely readers well we are officially in the single digit countdown to Christmas, I for one am hugely excited. I used to love Christmas when I wasn't a mum and now that I am its even more magical, I can't wait to see the mischief Lexi gets into when there is a big pile of wrapping paper to jump into and to see her face light up trying her first ever Christmas dinner. As she is only one I don't think she will be into the whole Santa thing yet but that doesn't mean I can't have him dancing across my nails. So without further ado I would like to share with you lovely people my latest manicure for the festive season. As the base for this mani I used the beautiful Danglefoot nail polishes Higitus Figitus, this is the new version of this particular polish. It is a gorgeous deep black holographic polish it is fully opaque in two easy to apply coats and has an excellent formula. This polish is great to use to set the scene for some night time nail art...

Nailbox Candy Cane Manicure

Image
Good morning my lovelies, it is absolutely freezing today me and Lexi are both wrapped up in the quilt trying to keep warm like a couple of penguins. I really wanted to try and get this post up last night but my brother and future sister in law (who is also my best friend) came around for an unexpected visit, and then Lexi was being stubborn about going to bed. So today I have for you my manicure using all my nail polish goodies from my November Nailbox , click on the link if you haven't already checked that out. It was crammed full of classic festive colours to use for this coming month.  When I received my Festive Nailbox my first thought was that the nail polish's we were given are the perfect colours for a candy cane manicure. So with that in mind I began planning out my festive fingers mani, first things first I used 2 coats of China Glaze White on White for my base and then topped that with OPI's Happy Anniversary. This gave the base a lovely silvery glow, I was h...
