As it is October I just had to do a spooky Halloween mani, and when I thought of these colours I knew straight away the blue polish that I wanted to use. I picked this beauty up recently from fragrance direct, a great bargain.
This stunning polish is OPI Give Me Space from last years winter collection, I have been told this is a close dupe to Zoya's Dream which is on my lemming list. It had a gorgeous deep blue jelly base with tons of blue scattered holographic glitter. This looks just like the night sky, it really has impressed me and I have no idea why I didn't pick this up sooner. Just 2 coats to reach full opacity and an easy to apply formula.
For my silver stamping, I used a plate I picked up recently for Mundo De Unas. I tried to create the look of a graveyard with a grim reaper, the plate I purchased was ZZ Halloween 01 and it definitely a must have Halloween plate.
There is just about every image you could possibly want to create a spooky Halloween mani, the plate cost $4.50 (£3.67) so a great little bargain. All images picked up really well the first time, it is very deeply etched so I am pretty sure it could stamp well with all different stamping polish, for my mani I used Born Pretty Silver Stamping polish.
There we have my contribution to the first week of the Crumpet Nail Tarts nail art challenge, I can't wait to see what all the other ladies come up with. I will have all of their mani's and blogs listed down below. I hope you have enjoyed my Blue and Silver mani, and keep your eyes peeled for the next prompt on the 28th.
As always have a fabulous nail day and I will to all you wonderful people again soon.
