June 2017 Nail Art Round-Up

Image
*Post Contains Press Samples* Welcome back lovelies, I hope you all had a really nice relaxing weekend. I spent Saturday blitzing my house and de-cluttering, Lexi has far too many toys. Sunday as always was the best day, a lovely roast dinner and a relaxing time with the family. I can't believe we are now in July, every month just seems to be going faster and faster. So today's post is a quick June Nail Art Round-Up, for some reason, I don't feel like I was as productive last month so I am hoping July will be different.

May 2017 Nail Art Round-Up

Image
Hi my lovelies, welcome back to the madness that is my blog. Today's post is another quick monthly nail art round-up, it is hard to believe we are starting June already. It honestly feels like just yesterday that we had Christmas, this year is definitely one of those that if you blink you will miss it. So let's take a look at how many mani's I managed to pop together in May.

April's Nail Art 2017 Round-Up

Image
Another month has come and gone so it is time for my nail art round up, I was hoping to get this posted on Wednesday but it was a nightmare of a day so nothing got done. Things seem to be looking up now thankfully, so let's take a look at the mani's I managed to get done last month.

26 Great Nail Art Idea's- Spring Animals

Image
Hey Everyone, first let me apologise I am a day late posting this next addition to the Crumpets Nail Tart's 26 Great Nail Art Idea's challenge. There were a few reasons, one because it was St Patricks Day and I had already uploaded a mani for that, it's on Instagram if you would like to see it. The Second reason was that my little Lexi had a bad tummy, so there were serious mummy huggles needed. So enough of me going on a tangent let's jump straight in.

February 2017 Nail Art Round-Up

Image
Good afternoon my beauties, it is that time of the week again. Hump day! LOL we are half way through yet another week and have entered into a new month. How on earth is it March already, this year is just going far too fast. Normally on a Wednesday, I would be doing my Alphabet Swatchathon, but instead, I'm going to use this post to reflect on all the nail art looks I achieved in February.

September Meebox Pumpkin Spice- Swatch & Review

Image
Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a great weekend. Not much going on here just the usual trip into town on the Saturday and a quick pop to TKMaxx on Sunday. There is no Sunday roast for a whole month now as my Gramps and Nan are away, I am still coming to grips with this news LOL. Today's blog post will be the swatch and review for Septembers Meebox, the theme for last month's box was pumpkin spice. So let's jump in!

Boho Meebox Mani

Image
Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a good work week. It has been an interesting week here at the FairyTalesNails household, my little Lexi has been going round with her new stethoscope giving all her toys a check-up. It seems my little girl has dreams of becoming the next Doc Mcstuffins, I must admit it is very cute and I am glad she is aiming high. Today's post is my Boho nail art using all of my goodies from Augusts Meebox, so let's jump straight in!

April Meebox- Hitched

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, mine wasn't very eventful just the usual running around after Lexi and spending time with my lovely mum and family. I also received my April Meebox on Friday, so today I will show you what i did with all the goodies I received. This month the theme was Hitched, inside we had a Mavala French tip manicure set, a Leighton Denny polish, some nail stickers from Miss Cat Nails, a clear jelly stamper and the cherry on top was that beautiful Bundle Monster stamping plate. Lets take a better look at all these goodies good enough for any soon to be bride.  The polish in this months box is from a mainstream brand called Leighton Denny, this is a pretty dusty rose pink with gold shimmer called Breakfast In Bed. This polish is opaque in 2 coats but can become streaky if manipulated too much. It is a nice polish but I think in this case its a not you its me type of situation, I definitely prefer a pop of colour than thes...

HPB Presents Spring Flower Water Marble

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I can not believe that Spring has arrived so quickly and that Easter is literally only a few days away. It seems very strange to me to have it so close to St Paddy's day, in my family we celebrate both days so that equals twice the fun. We normally go to my amazing Nan's for Sunday roast dinner anyway so Easter just means a roast with the added addition of chocolate. Today's post is another awesome blogger link-up with all the lovely ladies from the Hobby Polish Blogger's Facebook page. This is an awesome group of people who have helped me so much with the progress of my blog. This time the link-up theme is Spring, so for this mani I decided to use that gorgeous pink polish from Tux Polish called Pretty Christmas Sweater , this polish screams Spring to me. I paired this beautiful pink creme with gold shimmer with my white born pretty store stamping polish. As you can probably tell I did not create this water marble myself, I am hoping to...

Meebox Blackberry Margarita Mani

Image
Hello my lovely readers, I hope everyone is well and having a fabulous week. Mine hasn't been fantastic have lost my voice and have a really bad head cold. This time of year all I seem to do is pick up bugs and spend lots of time in my PJ's curled up with Lexi on the sofa. As you all probably know I recently received January's Meebox and in it were some gorgeous goodies, I knew straight away that I would be try the 'Ard As Nails polish called Little legs. I have wanted to try out this indie brand for quite some time now and was super thrilled to see that little bottle sitting among the paper worms when I opened my Meebox. So today's post is all about my boozy mani using 'Ard As Nails little legs and the lovely cocktail glass stencil from She Sells Seashells. First I did 2 coats of 'Ard As Nails Little legs and then top coated with HK Girl and left it to dry, once that had fully dried I placed the stencil onto my ring finger nail and used my Born Pre...
