Snowman Manicure using Danglefoot Nail Polish Eye Candy

Image
Hello my lovely readers, I can not believe that it is the 12th of December all ready. Only another 13 days until Christmas, I am happy to say I have got all my Christmas shopping done and dusted so at least that is one less thing to worry about. My boyfriend has told me that he has brought me nothing but nail polish for Christmas so I am super excited to find out what goodies he has picked. I will definitely be doing a Christmas haul post to show all of you fellow addicts my loot.  Today I have another festive inspired manicure for you all, I recently spent some of my pennies on some more Danglefoot Nail Polish . Among the beauties that I acquired from the lovely Hayley is this gorgeous dark blue polish called Eye Candy. I am utterly besotted with this polish, I mean what is not to love it is jam packed with iridescent blue and rainbow glitters. When this polish hits the light it look absolutely magical, it has a dark blue jelly base and is opaque in 2 ...

Christmas Pudding Manicure

Image
Hello my fabulous readers, well it's the 5th of December and we are only 20 days away from Christmas. There are many things I love about Christmas, having all my family in one place, lots of pressies under the tree and lots and lots of food. One of my favourite Christmas memories is lighting the pudding on fire, seeing those bright blue flames dancing around is always a fabulous end to a great Christmas dinner. The first thing I had to do was choose a good brown polish that would be good for the base of my Christmas puddings. The Color Club from my  Novembers Meebox  was the perfect colour for the job, Positively Posh is opaque in one easy to apply coat. When I was brushing this on it seriously did feel like I was brushing melted milk chocolate onto my nails. Once this had fully dried I used my top coat to seal in the base colour and then started to make my dripped icing.  To make my drips of icing I picked up my largest dotting tool and used China Glaze Whit...

Snowflakes Manicure using Echoes Polish Frisky In The Frost

Image
Hello my lovely peeps, I hope everyone has been having a good week so far and are not feeling too cold. Well I can officially say it is so cold here that I just had to break out the snowflakes, my nails needed to look as cold as I felt. This time of year all I want to do is stay in my pj's and fluffy slippers and sip on a large cup of hot chocolate. I'm sure many of you out there feel the same, unfortunately my little girl does not agree and just thinks that every moment of the day should be spent playing and running around the house. Enough of my wintery woes lets get into some snowflakey goodness. For the base for this manicure I went straight for one of my new Echoes polishes, this baby is called Frisky In The Frost. It is a gorgeous icy blue holographic with a subtle violet shimmer. This polish is the perfect colour for how cold I am feeling right now. Not only is this a gorgeous polish but I had a peppermint scent added to it and oh wow, my nails actually smelt like ca...

Nailbox Candy Cane Manicure

Image
Good morning my lovelies, it is absolutely freezing today me and Lexi are both wrapped up in the quilt trying to keep warm like a couple of penguins. I really wanted to try and get this post up last night but my brother and future sister in law (who is also my best friend) came around for an unexpected visit, and then Lexi was being stubborn about going to bed. So today I have for you my manicure using all my nail polish goodies from my November Nailbox , click on the link if you haven't already checked that out. It was crammed full of classic festive colours to use for this coming month.  When I received my Festive Nailbox my first thought was that the nail polish's we were given are the perfect colours for a candy cane manicure. So with that in mind I began planning out my festive fingers mani, first things first I used 2 coats of China Glaze White on White for my base and then topped that with OPI's Happy Anniversary. This gave the base a lovely silvery glow, I was h...

Novembers Nailbox review - Festive Fingers

Image
Hello my fellow nail polish peeps, well it is that time of the month again. I must admit I love the end of the month now so much nail mail, it makes me burst with excitement. Thankfully this month I made sure both my Nailbox and Meebox were sent to my mums house so I didn't have a repeat of last months stolen post fiasco. I must admit the minute that I opened this months Nailbox I had it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas playing in my head. Nailbox definitely 'nailed' it this month. (excuse the pun) If you are looking for classic Christmas colours then this is the box for you. All of these nail goodies for only £15 what a bargain!  The brands included in this months box are two mainstream classics and an Indie brand that is becoming a staple in a lot of our nail collections. The last time I received a True Brit London polish was Taxi Cab in Septembers Creepy colours Nailbox , and I loved it.  For this festive season we all need a Christm...
