August 2017 Meebox Born This Way- Unboxing & Review

Image
Welcome back my lovelies, I hope you all had a really nice weekend. Mine consisted of housework, watching Disney movies and nails. I have loads coming up over the next month, really trying to get my un-swatched mountain down in size. So over the next few weeks I am hoping I will have lots to share with you. For today's post I have August's Meebox unboxing to show you.

*Press Sample* Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a great relaxing weekend. I was still trying to recover from the sickness bug that I had recently picked up, so not much fun for me. Today's post is about Annika Nail Colour from the Edge Nails, these were sent to me for review recently. The Edge Nails is a professional nail care brand that sells many different nail supplies, they primarily sell to wholesalers, salons, and nail technicians. Let's take a closer look at these polishes!

Ejiubas Nail Vinyls- Swatch & Review

Image
*Press Sample* Hello, my lovely readers; I hope you have had a good week with minimal nail breaks. My week hasn't been hugely eventful, I have however broken a nail (major sad face). Not to worry it was not on my swatch hand, thankfully. But now my poor cindie hand is down to nubs again, so much length gone thanks to a very mean car door. Today's post is a rare one for me, I used nail vinyls! I was recently sent some Ejiubas nail vinyls to review so I sat down and gave it my best shot, let's jump in.

Sharing The Love For Ane Li

Image
Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend. I am going to keep today's post short and sweet, the mani I did today is in tribute to a lovely young nail artist that chose to join the angels on July 11th 2016. Ane Li was a very talented nail artist so in tribute to her, the nail art community has been recreating her manicures and sharing them on social media today. This is my contribution.

March Meebox- Kawaii Theme

Image
Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a good week. I am still trying to fight off this bug which doesn't seem to want to leave. Today's post is another unboxing and review, this time it is of the fabulous Meebox. I was over the moon when Meebox chose me as their Meebox challenge winner, this meant I was sent this pretty box for free this month. The theme for March was Kawaii which translates as anything cute. I honestly feel this box was one of the best boxes so far. Every polish was so pretty and the extras were beyond cute. So let's dig into this months box! March's box contained 3 beautiful pastel polishes and a set of Kawaii water decals with some adorable Kitty clippers. I loved the look of all 3 of these polishes so much that I had to do full swatches for all of them.  First up is Color Club Hot Hot Hot Pants, this is a beautiful peach pastel neon creme, this took 3 coats to become fully opaque. This polish was released in the Poptastic Past...

Decembers Meebox- Ice Queen

Image
Hello my lovely readers, well it is that time of the month again where I get super pumped to receive my end of the month nail mail. This month because we have Christmas coming up the lovely ladies at Meebox sent out the boxes early so that we would get them in time for Christmas. This months theme is Ice Queen, being a huge Frozen fan I was highly anticipating this box. I am very happy to say I was not left disappointed, the polishes included in this months box are to die for and I am elated to have them in my ever growing collection. So lets get into this fabulous Ice Queen box, as usual I was greeted with the beautiful Meebox wrapping paper and this month they even added a lovely Christmas card which I thought was a great idea. Then after ripping open the paper carefully I found these 3 lovely polishes laying in the bed of paper worms, along with the polishes there are some lovely snowflake water decals and a nail file key ring from Sparkly Nails. The first polish that I p...

Christmas Pudding Manicure

Image
Hello my fabulous readers, well it's the 5th of December and we are only 20 days away from Christmas. There are many things I love about Christmas, having all my family in one place, lots of pressies under the tree and lots and lots of food. One of my favourite Christmas memories is lighting the pudding on fire, seeing those bright blue flames dancing around is always a fabulous end to a great Christmas dinner. The first thing I had to do was choose a good brown polish that would be good for the base of my Christmas puddings. The Color Club from my  Novembers Meebox  was the perfect colour for the job, Positively Posh is opaque in one easy to apply coat. When I was brushing this on it seriously did feel like I was brushing melted milk chocolate onto my nails. Once this had fully dried I used my top coat to seal in the base colour and then started to make my dripped icing.  To make my drips of icing I picked up my largest dotting tool and used China Glaze Whit...

Novembers Meebox unboxing and review- Taupe to me

Image
Hell my wonderful readers, hope everyone had a lovely weekend mine wasn't really eventful just the usual dinner at my Nan's on Sunday. With this cold weather and it getting darker earlier and earlier a Sunday roast is just what I needed. Today I have the unboxing and review of Novembers Meebox, this months theme was Taupe to me. Now I am not going to lie I am not a huge fan of taupe, I just don't think browns and nudes suit my really pale skin. I much prefer adding a splash of colour to my nails rather than going for the manikin hand look. However I was pleasantly surprised to find some very unique polishes in my box and some great treatments for your nails in the upcoming winter months. When I opened my box first thing I saw was the lovely colorful tissue paper they use every month, this gets me so excited to see what goodies are waiting inside for me. Once I carefully pulled up the sticker I found my polishes sitting safely in a bed of paper worms, I love how they use...
