Boho Meebox Mani

Image
Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a good work week. It has been an interesting week here at the FairyTalesNails household, my little Lexi has been going round with her new stethoscope giving all her toys a check-up. It seems my little girl has dreams of becoming the next Doc Mcstuffins, I must admit it is very cute and I am glad she is aiming high. Today's post is my Boho nail art using all of my goodies from Augusts Meebox, so let's jump straight in!

August Meebox- Boho Unboxing & Review (Birthday Box)

Image
Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. It was my Birthday yesterday, so my nanny took me out to lunch and Lexi gave me the best present of all. A lie in! Unfortunately, she is not old enough to make me breakfast in bed quite yet, but I am sure we will get there eventually. As we are now at the end of yet another month (where is this year going.) It is that time again for all of us UK nail addicts to dive into our Meebox's, this month Meebox turned 1 years old and the theme they choose was Boho. So let's jump in and see what we have!

Meebox Kawai Mani

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are all having a great weekend so far, today's quick post will be my Kawaii mani using the goodies from March's Meebox . As Kawaii means cute I wanted to try and do the cutest manicure possible The minute that this beautiful Cuccio Under A Blue Moon was on my nails I knew that this was the base I wanted to use for my Kawaii mani. It is opaque in 2 coats and is the perfect sky blue colour, it worked fantastically with the stamping image I chose from Uber Chic Collection 8.   I used this cute smiling clouds image from plate 3 for every nail except my ring finger. I love how cute this image is and it was perfect for this mani. For my accent nail I cut out one of the small heart water decal from YRNAILS that I received in the Kawaii box. This was so simple to use, I just placed it in warm water for 30 seconds picked it out placed it where I wanted it on the nail. Once that was in place and top coated I used my bright pink mundo de una...

March Meebox- Kawaii Theme

Image
Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a good week. I am still trying to fight off this bug which doesn't seem to want to leave. Today's post is another unboxing and review, this time it is of the fabulous Meebox. I was over the moon when Meebox chose me as their Meebox challenge winner, this meant I was sent this pretty box for free this month. The theme for March was Kawaii which translates as anything cute. I honestly feel this box was one of the best boxes so far. Every polish was so pretty and the extras were beyond cute. So let's dig into this months box! March's box contained 3 beautiful pastel polishes and a set of Kawaii water decals with some adorable Kitty clippers. I loved the look of all 3 of these polishes so much that I had to do full swatches for all of them.  First up is Color Club Hot Hot Hot Pants, this is a beautiful peach pastel neon creme, this took 3 coats to become fully opaque. This polish was released in the Poptastic Past...

Novembers Meebox unboxing and review- Taupe to me

Image
Hell my wonderful readers, hope everyone had a lovely weekend mine wasn't really eventful just the usual dinner at my Nan's on Sunday. With this cold weather and it getting darker earlier and earlier a Sunday roast is just what I needed. Today I have the unboxing and review of Novembers Meebox, this months theme was Taupe to me. Now I am not going to lie I am not a huge fan of taupe, I just don't think browns and nudes suit my really pale skin. I much prefer adding a splash of colour to my nails rather than going for the manikin hand look. However I was pleasantly surprised to find some very unique polishes in my box and some great treatments for your nails in the upcoming winter months. When I opened my box first thing I saw was the lovely colorful tissue paper they use every month, this gets me so excited to see what goodies are waiting inside for me. Once I carefully pulled up the sticker I found my polishes sitting safely in a bed of paper worms, I love how they use...
