June 2017 Nail Art Round-Up

Image
*Post Contains Press Samples* Welcome back lovelies, I hope you all had a really nice relaxing weekend. I spent Saturday blitzing my house and de-cluttering, Lexi has far too many toys. Sunday as always was the best day, a lovely roast dinner and a relaxing time with the family. I can't believe we are now in July, every month just seems to be going faster and faster. So today's post is a quick June Nail Art Round-Up, for some reason, I don't feel like I was as productive last month so I am hoping July will be different.

Welcome back lovelies, it's Fridays Woohoo! I hope you have all had a good week, I'm still coping with a very stubborn and angry toddler at the moment. Going from a bed to a cot is not an easy transition. Today's post is a review of the brand new Summer stamping plate released by Uber Chic.

June 2017 Meebox Ibiza- Unboxing & Review

Image
Hello, my lovelies halfway through the week already and close to the end of yet another month. I am running low on energy at the moment as Lexi feels 6.30am is a good time to get up, and getting her to stay in her bed is a nightmare since we have gotten rid of the cot. Anyway, enough about my motherly woes, today's post is another Meebox unboxing, so let's jump in!

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a great weekend. Unfortunately, Lexi is still poorly so mine has spent at my Mum's house with sleepless nights and lots of cuddles. For today's post, I have a swatch and review of the Uber Chic Halloween 01 stamping plate. I picked this plate up last year and am still in love with it now just as much as I was then. Let's jump in and see what I created with this spookylicious plate.

March Nailbox- Easter Theme

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I am so sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days, I am trying to fight off this horrible bug that is going around and unfortunately I seem to be losing. Today's post is another Nailbox unboxing and review. This month the theme was Easter, when I think of Easter my mind goes to beautiful pastel shades and eggs. So I was a bit surprised to find some very bright colours in this months box. This months box contained 3 polishes one set of fake nails and some nail polish remover. Like I said upon my first impression this box didn't really scream Easter to me. It isn't that I didn't like the colours its just that the only one I felt fit the theme was the pastel lavender and of course the speckled eggs false nails.  The first polish that I swatched was from Moyou London, I was hoping on first glance that it might have been a stamping polish but from what I can see on the site this is Cerise pink which is one of their normal nail...

February's Meebox- Red Carpet

Image
Hello my lovely readers! I was so happy to finally get this months Meebox yesterday, I was clicking on the tracking link for what seemed like every hour of the day. I always love the themes that Meebox choose to go with, this months theme fit really well as we are in award season. So when we were told it was going to be a Red Carpet theme my mind immediately went to reds and golds. There was also an opportunity for five lucky people to receive a special Classic Chanel polish, I was not one of the winners but my amazing friend Becca was. Huge congratulations to her! So let's open up this months box and see what we have. As usual when I opened my box the first thing I saw was the card telling us about this months theme and what brands where inside the box. I placed that to one side and rummaged around in the paper worms that were keeping my little award winning polishes safe. The first polish I picked out was this large circular bottle made by Smith & Cult, I have ne...

January Nailbox-Valentines Day

Image
Hello my lovely readers, as we are now finishing up January it is time to start thinking about that lovey dovey day in February. That's right Valentines is just around the corner, and the great girls at Nailbox decided to make sure our nails would be prepared for the occasion. January's Nailbox theme was Valentines day, when I read this my mind immediately went to one paticular colour PINK! I am a huge lover of all things pink, I have pink hoodies, jumpers and trainers. So when I opened this months box I was very happy to see that beautiful colour among my packing peanuts. This month we were treated to another nail treatment, two polishes, one glitter topper and some very handy dandy orange sticks. My little pack of love hearts almost didn't even make it to this picture as my boyfriend loves them and wanted to eat them before I had even finished gazing at the beautiful pink polishes.  Lets dive right in with this gorgeous glitter topper from Nails Inc called ...

Funky Fresh Jelly Sandwich

Image
Hello my lovely readers, well now that all the festivities are out of the way I can finally begin to breath again. I did have maybe five or six more Christmas manicures I wanted to get done, but I suppose they will have to wait until next year. After receiving  Decembers Nailbox  I was inspired to do a funky fresh manicure. I could not resist using Bloomsbury Way from Nails Inc as those pastel glitters were screaming out to me the minute I opened the box. Because I was happy with my  Winter Jelly Sandwich  I decided to try doing this with the Nails Inc Glitter. First I started off with two coats of Essie's Marshmallow, this is a very sheer white jelly polish so it is perfect for creating jelly sandwiches. I love the different combinations you can create with just one polish, I also felt that white would be a perfect colour for that fresh feeling after all the dark reds and greens that have been showing up over Christmas.  Once both of those coats had...

Decembers Nailbox- Funky Fresh

Image
Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a fab Christmas and were treated to lots of nail goodies. I was very lucky as my day was full of polish, polish and more polish. I have a massive haul coming up of all the loot I received over the last few days. But first lets get into our swatch and review for December's Nailbox, this month the theme was funky fresh. They put in some fabulous polishes to get us ready for the new year, there was also some great little extras hidden underneath all of those packing peanuts. The box definitely had a freshening feel to it and was full of some lovely colours and that Nails inc glitter is to die for. So lets just get into these gorgeous polishes and fab little extras. As you probably can guess the first polish to catch my eye was this gorgeous Nails Inc glitter topper called Bloomsbury way. This is a glitter topper with a clear base and pastel pink, blue and white glitters in all shapes and sizes. It is a bit base heavy so you ...
