Decembers Nailbox- Funky Fresh

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a fab Christmas and were treated to lots of nail goodies. I was very lucky as my day was full of polish, polish and more polish. I have a massive haul coming up of all the loot I received over the last few days. But first lets get into our swatch and review for December's Nailbox, this month the theme was funky fresh. They put in some fabulous polishes to get us ready for the new year, there was also some great little extras hidden underneath all of those packing peanuts.
The box definitely had a freshening feel to it and was full of some lovely colours and that Nails inc glitter is to die for. So lets just get into these gorgeous polishes and fab little extras.

As you probably can guess the first polish to catch my eye was this gorgeous Nails Inc glitter topper called Bloomsbury way. This is a glitter topper with a clear base and pastel pink, blue and white glitters in all shapes and sizes. It is a bit base heavy so you do sometimes have to do a bit of fishing for some of those larger glitters. I love the baby pink and pale blue together, it definitely gives you that fresh feeling, This is a limited edition nail polish from the blossom collection, you can grab a bottle direct from Nails Inc for £15 that is the full price of this box! So happy to have this gorgeous unique glitter in my collection.

The next beauty that was included in this months box is Morgan Taylor's Best Ball Gown Ever, this is a gorgeous periwinkle blue with a golden shimmer, this polish takes 3 coats to be opaque and is quite sheer. When dry this polish has a beautiful frost finish and that golden shimmer really shines through. This is the first Morgan Taylor I own and was from the Cinderella Spring 2015 collection, I must say I love this colour and think its perfect for this time of year. You can grab a bottle of this gorgeous polish from Nail Polish Direct for £9.95.

The last nail polish in this months box was this lovely lilac creme from Rimmel's I love lasting polish line, this was opaque in 2 coats and had a really nice formula, no patches or brush lines. I must admit this did remind me of the China Glaze we received in this months Meebox, however this one seems to be less sheer than Lotus Begin and maybe a bit of a darker shade of lilac. You can pick this Rimmel up from Amazon for £3.49.
If those polishes weren't enough to make this box a great bargain, the kind people at Nailbox also included in some Elegant Touch slanted tweezers. These will be great for when I am making my decals on my Uber Chic mat because they won't harm the mat and I should be able to get under those decals and not risk tearing the image. You can pick these tweezers up from Superdrug for £12.50.
The last item in Decembers box was this I love nail art pen from Sally Hansen, this is a white nail art pen with a fine tip. I am always happy to have more nail art pens in my collection and this Sally Hansen looks like it would be very easy to use and great when doing fine details. You can pick this Sally Hansen pen up from Boots for £6.99, this also comes in black, red and pink.

Overall I think this months box was fabulous, for only £15 we received £47.93 worth of nail goodies. That in my opinion is a fantastic bargain. If you haven't secured your Nailbox yet follow the link and sign up now. I have been highly impressed with both nail subscription boxes and every month I look forward to seeing what they will come up with next.

I hope you have enjoyed this months Nailbox and my review, can't wait to see what the theme will be for next month. As always hope you are having a fabulous nail day and speak to you all very soon.
