Level Up Lacquer A Villainous Christmas Collection- Swatch & Review

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a really great weekend. I can't believe we are now less than a week away from Christmas. December just seems to have flown by, there were so many mani ideas I had for this month and I don't think I'm going to have enough time to get them all done. Today's post is one of my bargain buys from Black Friday, this is a new to me indie brand called Level Up Lacquer. When I saw her villainous Christmas collection I just knew that I had to have them, so lets jump in!

This collection is perfect for Christmas it has a fantastic colour palette and a wide variety of formula's. This is a 5 piece collection but unfortunately the white to blue thermal didn't work, Ashley who owns Level Up Lacquer is sending me another bottle so keep your eye's peeled for that in the future. For today I have two jelly polishes, a crelly and a glitter to show you.

First up is Sandy Claws, this is a gorgeous bright red jelly polish with white and iridescent glitters in both hex's and circles. This was really easy to apply, it built up to full opacity in 2 coats and dried to a really glossy finish. It was just the right ratio of glitter to base so there was no need for fishing, it was the perfect colour for Santa and those glitters really made it look unique.

The second beauty in the collection is called Bah-Humbug, this is the crelly. I already knew this would be a stand out favourite for me as I am a sucker for a white crelly. This has a beautiful white base filled with red and green glitter, the perfect colours for the occasion, this was fully opaque in 3 coats and applied beautifully to the nail not too thick or thin.

The second jelly polish in the collection is called Krampus, this has a black jelly base with silver, red, green and gold glitters. It took 2 coats to reach full opacity and was really easy to work with, this is a great Christmas polish but would also work really well for a New Years Eve mani too.

The last polish I have to show you today is called Grinch, this has a clear base and is crammed with micro yellow and green glitters with a little holo in there too. You could probably get this opaque by itself in 3 coats, but you can also use it as a topper like I have. This is one coat over Princess Nail Lacquer Hawthorn, it works really well as a topper and adds a beautiful dimension to the base polish. Again the ratio of base to glitter works really well with this polish.

Overall I am really impressed with these polishes, they all applied beautifully and work so well in a Christmas collection. Each bottle contains 11ml of product they are also available in 5ml and 16.5ml bottles. This 5 piece collection is available in her shop for $35 or $8.50 individually, which I think is a great price for the amount of polish you receive. I had no issues with shipping or delivery and she does ship worldwide, the initial shipping cost is quite high but that is to be expected. I didn't get any custom charges as Ashley marks the packages low and as a gift. It is free shipping on all orders over $50 to the US and over $75 internationally. Each polish was individually wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a box with paper worms.

As I have mentioned Level Up Lacquer is an American indie brand run by the lovely Ashley. all of her polishes are 5 free and cruelty-free she also sells nail charms and decals. I love her collections she is inspired by all things nerdy which really speaks to me, each one of her polishes is very unique and you can tell she put a lot of love and thought into each one. I will leave links to the Level Up Lacquer shop below as well as all of their social media.

I really hope you liked this post, I would love to know which polish is your favourite out of this collection? As always have a fantastic nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon. Also keep an eye on my Instagram as I will have nail art looks to go with these polishes posted throughout the week.
