Opulent Essences In The Mood Swatch & Review

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. Me and Lexi didn't get up to much just a trip to town and a delicious roast dinner at my Nan's house on Sunday. The polish that I have to show you today is one of my favourite kinds. I love wearing thermal polishes and can not stop putting my nail in and out of cold water to see the colour change. Today's thermal polish is called In The Mood and was created by the lovely Sharon and Zoe from Opulent Essences. Let's get into the swatches and see just what this stunning polish can do.

I loved working with this polish it applied really easily and reached full opacity in 3 coats. The formula is more jelly like than creme so it looks very squishy on the nail.

When this beautiful polish is warm it takes on this gorgeous bubblegum pink colour.

After the polish has been exposed to a cold temperature it changes to a deep royal purple. The change in the colour is so fast I couldn't capture it quick enough to see the whole nail with the purple colour. It is absolutely beautiful when it is in transition as you have a lovely deep royal purple on the tips of your nails.

For the stamping I wanted to try and make it look like it would disappear when put into the cold water, the image I chose is from Uber Chic Collection 1 plate 1. So that the stamping would fade out when cold I used Born Pretty purple shimmer polish which was the perfect colour to allow the stamping to fade away.

I really do love thermal polishes, they make me feel like a kid watching a magic trick. I was really impressed with the formula for In The Mood and the colour shift was instantaneous when exposed to the cold. This lovely polish is available in the Opulent Essence Etsy store now. All of their polishes are 5 free and vegan friendly, I will leave all of their social media links and a link to their store for all of you below. For a 10ml bottle of In The mood it is £6, plus shipping costs. I always get great customer service when dealing with Opulent Essences, my packages have always arrived within 3 working days and are wrapped up securely so their is very little risk of breakages.

I hope you have enjoyed this post, please let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. As always I hope you are all having a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.
