Opulent Essences Taste The Rainbow Stamping Swatches and Mani

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a fabulous week. Mine has been full of bugs not only was I ill for most of last week and the beginning of this one but now my little girl has caught the bug. I really hope it doesn't stick around as long as it did for me. Today's post is a follow up from the last, in that post I showed you full swatches of the Taste The Rainbow collection from Opulent Essences. I had so many different ideas for manicures that I ended up just sitting down and letting the polish guide me.

This is my first marbled manicure to create this look I used all of the polishes from the collection except blueberry as I felt it would be a bit too dark and over power the lighter colours. For my ring finger and pointer I dropped a few drops of Orange, Strawberry and Lemon onto the top of my jumbo stamper head. I then marbled them together by smooshing the stamper down so the colours blended together. I then took the stamper and stamped the blended colours onto my nail. For the other 3 nails I used Lemon, Lime and Grape and stamped them on using the same method. All nails have a base colour of Color Club French Tip, which is an amazing one coater perfect for nail art.

For the stamping I used a Winstonia stamping plate, this was my first time trying this brand and I have to say I was highly impressed the images pick up really well and are quite unique. I received this plate in a recent Easter swap and I will definitely be checking out some more Winstonia plates, I loved how they had both the positive and negative of the rainbow pattern and how the squiggles went in different directions for both the right and left hand.

As you all know I love my stamping so I just had to see what each of these neon's looked like when stamped over black and white. They don't really show up over black but they are stunning over the lighter colours.

Because I loved this Winstonia plate so much I decided to show you a few designs you could create with these beautiful polishes and the plate. For the first image I placed a small dot of Lemon for the middle then Orange and Strawberry for the outer circles, this is a lovely pattern and creates such a pretty radial gradient. The next image might be one of my favourites, the first polish I used was Blueberry then lime and to finish it off Grape. I scraped once to the left so that the colours didn't mix too much. Then the last image is using the negative rainbow design and all of the polishes except Blueberry, I love this gradient look and think it will be stunning for a full manicure.

I don't know about you but I think this collection from Opulent Essences is fantastic it's so bright and fun, and the fact that they stamp is just the cherry on top. I will be using these polishes for my first try at watermarbling soon, as I think they will create some gorgeous designs.

I hope you like this post I am still not sure whether this manicure is a nail fail or not, sometimes I think pretty sometimes I think what the hell. I would love to know your thoughts so please feel free to leave a comment down below. As always I hope all of you fab people are having an excellent nail day and I will speak to you all again really soon.
