25th Birthday Mani Using Wicked Polish Drunk In Public

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a nice weekend. I took Lexi shopping she is not even 2 yet and she was picking out her own clothes and going ewww to ones she didn't like. It is official my baby girl is growing up way too fast! Of course our shopping trip wouldn't be complete without picking up some balloons to bring home. It was just over a week ago that I celebrated my 25th Birthday, so for today's post I wanted to show you the mani I wore to celebrate. So let's jump in!

As you can see I chose to have some very cute cupcakes rocking out on my middle and ring nail and then stamped some words associated with all the lovely sweet things. There were plenty of cupcakes at my family tea party made by my lovely Mum. They were vanilla cupcakes with a chocolate buttercream and pieces of fudge placed on top, very morish.

My base for this manicure was this amazing white crelly polish from Wicked Polish, I was very lucky to recently pick up some of my Wicked Polish lemmings. This one was very high up on the list so I knew the minute I brought this in a destash I wanted to wear it for my birthday.

This is Wicked Polish Drunk In Public and it looks exactly like cupcake sprinkles on top of white frosting. I was completely in love and I really want to go and put this straight back on my nails right now. This takes 3 coats to be fully opaque on its own or two coats over a white base. My swatches are over white as I wanted those neon multi coloured glitters to really pop.

After I stopped staring at the amazing crelly on my nails I created these adorable cupcake decals using Cheeky Jumbo stamping plate 7 Home Sweet Home.

For my decals, I stamped the cupcake image onto my Uber Chic mat using Mundo De Unas Black. I then used my Uber Chic detail brush to colour each of my cupcakes with a pink and blue polish from For Your Nails Only, these were part of her pastel spring set. I will have a full swatch and review of that collection up on the blog in the future. I then top coated with Moyra top coat and waited for the decals to dry before pulling them off the mat.

Then for my pinkie, pointer, and thumb I used this jumble of words image from the Home Sweet Home plate. This had all sorts there were words like tea, party, sweet and many more, it was perfect to go with the rest of my mani.

I was really happy with how this turned out, I am really loving making advanced stamping decals since receiving my Moyra top coat. It is fantastic they are so pliable and easy to use, I would definitely recommend it. I would put Drunk In Public in my top 10 polishes for sure, it is such a beautiful crelly and I have been told that the glitters are UV reactive. I will have to get myself a little UV torch to see that for myself.

Please let me know your thoughts on this mani in the comments, also what other Wicked Polishes you would recommend?? I am now making it my mission to hunt them all down, so far I have Fairy Blood Splatter, Hematoma, and Stabbed by a Unicorn. I have a feeling I could become obsessed with this brand quite quickly.

I hope you are all having a lovely nail day and I will chat to all you fantastic people again soon.
