Pretty Serious Princess Plutonium Pinktober Mani

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you have all been having a good week. I can not believe we only have a week of October left. I have not been able to fit in nearly as many Halloween manicures as I had wanted, thanks to the flu infecting our home. Luckily we are all beginning to feel better now, for today's post I wanted to make sure I had at least one Pinktober mani. October is not only the month of Halloween but it is also Breast Cancer Awareness month. Let's take a look at what I came up with.

Ever since purchasing Pretty Serious Princess Plutonium I knew I wanted to use it for this manicure. I love the juxtaposition of the gorgeous pink with the black shards.

Princess Plutonium is a stunning polish and a must have for any pink polish lover, it has a bring pink jelly base with black shard glitter suspended throughout. It applied like butter I was so impressed with the formula the glitters didn't make it bumpy or hard to apply. For my swatch pics I used 2 coats, this does dry matte so you will need a good layer of top coat.

For my stamping I used Uber Chic Set 3 plate 1, they had the perfect image in the bottom ring corner. I didn't want to cover up the base polish too much so having the words really allowed the base to still pop. I stamped using Mundo De Unas Barbie which is a pale pink, I used my Bundle Monster Monocle stamper to line the image up on my nail. I stamped this onto my middle and ring nail and left my other nails without stamping.

To finish the manicure off I stamped the ribbon image from the plate onto the bottom right hand of my ring nail. I then used a blob of top coat to stick down some pastel pink circle studs in the ribbon shape.

I was really happy with how this turned out, it definitely screams pink and those black shards added a beautiful edge to the final look. Breast Cancer awareness is close to my heart as my nan was diagnosed and fought breast cancer a couple years ago. It is always important to raise as much money for research as possible so that more women out there can beat this evil and awful disease. Please always remember to check your breasts and if you do feel any abnormalities go get them checked, it is always better to be on the safer side.

I hope you have liked my Pinktober mani, I am totally in love with Princess Plutonium and would definitely recommend picking it up if you have the chance,

As always have a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.
