Sparklea Nail Polish Harry Potter Collection- Swatch & Review

Woohoo, Friday again! Welcome back peeps, I hope you have had a lovely week and are feeling those weekend vibes already. Not much going on here, my nan has gone on an unexpected visit to Ireland which means no Sunday roast, boo hoo. For today's post, I have another fabulous UK indie brand to share with you. So let's have a look-see.

Sparklea nail polish opened up a few months ago, these have been sat in my to be swatched pile for far too long. Her debut collection was inspired by Harry Potter, so of course, I had to pick them up. Unfortunately, three of the other polishes from this collection were sold out when I went to buy these, so I will hopefully be able to pick them up sometime in the future. I have 3 of the Hogwarts houses and the very unique Floo Powder to share with you today.

Gryffindor

First up, of course, is Harry, Ron and Hermione's house Gryffindor, this is a gorgeous maroon red polish with plenty of gold glitters scattered throughout. This took two coats to be fully opaque and was really lovely to apply. It was the perfect choice for Gryffindor and represents those house colours perfectly.

Hufflepuff

Next up is Hufflepuff, which is my house according to Pottermore. This is a stunning bright yellow with scattered holographic. This was so bright and screamed summer to me, fully opaque in 2 coats and another lovely formula to work with.

Slytherin

Then we have Slytherin Voldermort and Malfoy's house, a stunning jade green with a beautiful scattered holographic. Another lovely two coater and a breeze to apply, This definitely isn't my favourite house as I have a huge fear of snakes but this polish is stunning and I love this shade of green.

Floo Powder

The most unique from the collection was definitely Floo Powder, a gorgeous purple with multicoloured glitters. I thought this might be slightly textured but it dried to a lovely smooth finish and was fully opaque in two coats. I have nothing in my collection like this, might even have to invest in a full-size bottle.

Overall I was hugely impressed with Sparklea Nail Polish, all of the formula's were lovely to apply and were really pretty polishes. They all hit the nail on the head theme wise and definitely scream Harry Potter to me. Sparklea nail polish is run by the lovely Lea, all of her polishes are 5 free and cruelty-free. She sells both minis (5ml) and full-size bottles (10ml) the minis are £3.50 and the full size cost £6. So really reasonable prices for some very pretty unique polishes, shipping is £2..85 (four polishes) or £4 via courier, at this time she can only ship within the UK. I will link Sparklea Nail Polish's website and all of their social media down below.

What do you guys think? Which one is your favourite? Let me know down in the comments, also if you could choose which house would you want to be in?

As always have a fabulous nail day guy's and I will chat to you all again on Monday.

  10. Love these so much and it's nice to see you swatching them so long after they were released. It's reminded me how much I love this collection! Floo Powder is a stunner but I love Hufflepuff (even though I'm a Gryffindor) as it's so bright and sparkly!
