August 2017 Meebox Born This Way- Unboxing & Review

Welcome back my lovelies, I hope you all had a really nice weekend. Mine consisted of housework, watching Disney movies and nails. I have loads coming up over the next month, really trying to get my un-swatched mountain down in size. So over the next few weeks I am hoping I will have lots to share with you. For today's post I have August's Meebox unboxing to show you.

Last months Meebox theme was Lady GaGa Born This Way, and I can definitely tell you now this box did not disappoint. We received 3 gorgeous polishes and 2 nail art items, two of the polishes were UK indies so that was a lovely surprise.

Color Club Pure Energy

The first polish is from mainstream brand Color Club, this beautiful polish is called Pure Energy a lovely sky blue with a bright blue shimmer. This took 2-3 coats to be fully opaque and was really nice to apply, it was definitely a winner for me. This Color Club is available now from the Color Club website for $8.50.

'Ard As Nails I Love You Hunny Bunny

The next polish is my favourite from this months box, this is from UK indie 'Ard As Nails. I love You Hunny Bunny is from their Love it or Loathe it collection, it is a berry purple linear holographic. This was almost opaque in just 1 coat I did do a second to deepen the colour slightly. The formula was really nice to work with and pretty much applied itself. This polish is available now from the 'Ard As Nails website for £7.00

True Brit London Etiquette

The last polish definitely gives me those unicorn ethereal vibes, this is from another UK indie True Brit London. Etiquette is pinky/purple iridescent polish, this took 3 coats to be fully opaque but self levelled really nicely. When I first saw this in the bottle I didn't think I would like this one, but it definitely grew on me. This is available now from the True Brit London website for £12.50.

The first nail art item in this months box is some water decals from House Of Wonderland, there are plenty of images on this that I am sure Lady GaGa would love. These decals are really simple to use and apply to the nail nicely, when soaking these I would suggest at most 20 seconds as other wise they may come off the backing whilst still in the water. These are available on the House On Wonderland website for £5

The last item in the August box was some of Meebox's own nail polish remover, this is acetone free and scented with raspberry and grape.

Overall I was really impressed with this box, the polishes are so beautiful and will be great to wear at any time of the year. I paid £20 for this box and all of the items would have cost me £30+ so it was still a great bargain. For those of you who don't know Meebox is a monthly subscription box that is packed full of nail goodies, you can either subscribe month to month or save some money by doing it every 3 months. I will leave links to their website and their social media accounts down below.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I will chat to you wonderful people again soon.
