The Digit-al Dozen Does All That Glitters: Day 1

Welcome back my lovelies, I hope you had a really lovely weekend. I am just about recovering from my brothers wedding. It was a really beautiful day, apart from the fact that I fell over while getting ready and had to hobble down the aisle. I think it's safe to say my best friend now sister in-law will have second thoughts when asking me to do anything physical in future LOL.

Today's blog post I am really excited and pleased to be sharing with you, I was recently contacted by the lovely ladies from the Digit-al Dozen nail art group. I was over the moon when they offered for me to join them. They are a nail art group that take 1 week out of each month to post mani's for 5 consecutive days based off a theme. So let's have a look at the first mani I created for this weeks theme.

The theme for this weeks mani's is 'All That Glitters' so I have plenty of blingy and sparkly mani's coming your way. For my first mani I tried out a mani I had seen a while ago on PiggieLuv, I was really happy with how they turned out.

First I added a black base polish, this is Glisten and Glow Little Black Dress. A one coater black creme, the formula was gorgeous and I think this might be my new go to black polish.

After top coating I used 'China Glaze Fair Dust' a silver holographic micro glitter topper and 'China Glaze Break The Ice' a chunky silver glitter topper. I then used my new Esmaltes Da Kelly Sugar Bubbles jelly polishes to colour in half of each nail to create a rainbow gradient look.

I really liked the finish look and these would be a great mani to wear on Fireworks night, bit early I know. But hey always good to have idea's for the future.

I will leave links below to all the other ladies mani's, I can't wait to see what they come up with.

Really hope you enjoyed this post and I will hopefully see you all back here tomorrow for Day 2.
