Liv Oliv: The Playlist

**PR gifted in exchange for my honest review**

Hello my lovely fairies!

Today I have a new collection to share with you from Liv Oliv a UK indie, this is The Playlist. It consists of 9 different polishes all inspired by songs that the maker and her daughter listen to in the car, read on to find out more…

All of these polishes are in a multitude of different finishes and there is a good variety of colours so definitely something to suit everyone. All of Liv Oliv polishes are non toxic, vegan friendly and cruelty, they come in 10ml bottles with a wide flat brush.

Bubble Gum Bitch

Bubble Gum Bitch- a deep pink with a silver magnetic highlight and pink to orange flakes, swatch is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. I love a good pink polish and adding in that magnetic shift made this one extra pretty.

Rocket Scientist

Rocket Scientist: a glittery blue with holographic sparks and a pink shimmer, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. This is really gorgeous and those bright blue little glitters really make this polish pop when on the nail.

Rumour Ruin

Rumour Ruin: a dark burgundy to red to pink thermal with a scattering of holographic, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coats. This one was really fun and the transition with the thermal was gorgeous going from a really dark vampy colour when cold to a bright pink when warm.

Sparkle Like Bowie

Sparkle Like Bowie: a vibrant cherry red with red and gold glitters and a red to gold shimmer, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. This is such a beautiful bright red for summer and that gold really sparkles in the sun.

Glass Balloon

Glass Balloon: a clear base with iridescent green to gold to red flakes and a transparent holo, swatch is 1 coat over a black base. This is a fabulous topper and those flakes can add a different look to each base colour you use them over.

I Will Be Your Puppet

I Will Be Your Puppet: a deep plum to plurple thermal with blue glitters, swatch is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. The thermal change in this one is a lot more subtle than with ‘Rumour Ruin’ but I quite like that this is a great one to wear cooler summer days.

Whiskey Is My Holy Water

Whiskey Is My Holy Water: a brown to pumpkin orange thermal with autumnal iridescent flakes and bronze glitters, swatch is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat. This one is going to be amazing for autumn it makes me want to dig out my sweaters and sit down with a hot chocolate.

Olive You!

Olive You!: a deep olive green with holographic sparkle, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. This is a gorgeous bright green on the nails and a great colour to wear on those summer garden days.

It’s Not OK!

It’s Not OK!: a red to black multi chrome with red and black reflective glitter, swatch is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat. I really liked this one the shift was really pretty and you can’t go wrong with black and red.

I really enjoyed this collection there was plenty of variety and not only polishes that will be good for summer but all year round. Each formula was easy to work with and I had no issues with pooling or staining around the cuticles. Overall a beautiful collection with something that can suit different people skin tones, tastes and needs.

All of these polishes are releasing on Friday 24th June 2022, each polish priced at £8.99 apart from the thermals, magnetic and multi chrome as well as ‘Glass Balloon’ the topper which are all going to be £9.99. These will all be available individually from

I would love to know your thoughts on this collection, which one would you choose as your must haves?? Mine would probably be ‘Bubble Gum Bitch’, ‘Glass Balloon’ and ‘Whiskey Is My Holy Water’. Let me know down in the comments what yours might be.

A huge thank you to sue the owner of Liv Oliv for sending me these to review for you all. I really enjoyed playing with this collection. Make sure to be following my Instagram as ill be posing a reel and some nail using these beauties.

Hope you all enjoyed todays post, and I will see you back here soon with plenty more nail goodies to share.
