Pink Zebra Mani for NET cancer awareness

Hello my lovely nail polish junkies, I hope you all had a great weekend and are all keeping well. Today's post is my Zebra mani for NET cancer awareness day, Emma from Em's little corner has set up an in linkz for everyone to add their pink zebra mani's to spread awareness for this very rare type of cancer. I am going to leave a link here to Emma's blog and you can read how this cancer affected her personally.

I myself haven't got any personal experience with this particular type of cancer but my Uncle has blood cancer I'm not sure of the specific name. He went through a stem cell treatment 3 years ago and we were all hoping that would be it. Unfortunately he recently has been told that his cancer is probably back, we're not 100% sure of where yet as we are waiting for a biopsy to see what the options may be. This has rocked my family very hard, so I just want to send my thoughts and prayers out to all those suffering with any type of cancer and their families. It is a horrible thing and hopefully one day can be eradicated for good.

On to the pink zebra nails, first I had to decide which one of my numerous pink polishes to use. In the end I settled on Orly's Risky Behavior, this is a beautiful fuchsia cream opaque in 2 coats. In all honesty this could even be opaque in one thick coat if you were in a rush, I love this colour and the formula was great.

After allowing my top coat to dry I used this image from the Uber Chic Out of Africa stamping plate for my Zebra stripes. This plate is gorgeous and stamps perfectly, I will have a full review on this plate and some more that I recently purchased coming up soon. I loved how the black contrasted with the pink, I'm really glad my boyfriend treated me to this particular polish when he found it in TK maxx, as I always say you can never have too much pink.
So here it is the final mani, I love how it turned out and am really happy to do this for such a great cause. Here are some of the other lovely ladies pink zebra mani's please feel free to add your own.

I hope you have enjoyed today's post, this Thursday is Lexi's 1st Birthday so I am hoping to get swatches of the custom polishes I had made by Echoes polish up to show you. Both are in honour of Lexi, so please come back and see the luscious polishes that the lovely ladies at Echoes polish made for me. Until then I hope you are having a great nail day and chat to you all very soon.
