March Meebox- Kawaii Theme

Hello my lovely readers, I hope you have all had a good week. I am still trying to fight off this bug which doesn't seem to want to leave. Today's post is another unboxing and review, this time it is of the fabulous Meebox. I was over the moon when Meebox chose me as their Meebox challenge winner, this meant I was sent this pretty box for free this month. The theme for March was Kawaii which translates as anything cute. I honestly feel this box was one of the best boxes so far. Every polish was so pretty and the extras were beyond cute. So let's dig into this months box!

March's box contained 3 beautiful pastel polishes and a set of Kawaii water decals with some adorable Kitty clippers. I loved the look of all 3 of these polishes so much that I had to do full swatches for all of them.

First up is Color Club Hot Hot Hot Pants, this is a beautiful peach pastel neon creme, this took 3 coats to become fully opaque. This polish was released in the Poptastic Pastel Neon collection last year, after trying this one I now want all of that collection. This truly is a beautiful neon polish and perfect for this time of year. you can purchase Hot Hot Hot Pants from NailpolishDirect for £5.95.

The second polish in the box and my favourite is this beautiful Cuccio polish called Under A Blue Moon, this is a gorgeous pastel blue creme. It is a tiny bit lighter than in the pictures, I would probably describe it as the perfect sky blue, it took 2 easy to apply coats to reach full opacity. You can buy this stunning polish from Amazon for £7.45.

The last polish in this months box is a new to me brand called Lauren B Couture Nail Lacquer, it is a USA couture nail polish company. They are 5 free do not test on animals and vegan friendly, this beauty is called My Private Cabana. It is a mint green creme that is opaque in 3 coats, I would definitely use thin coats for this one and try not to manipulate it too much or it can become streaky. You can buy this polish from Amazon for £11, it is also a 14.8ml bottle so you get plenty of polish for you money.

The first little extra are these amazingly cute Kawaii nail decals, I always a sucker for objects with sweet little faces but these toaster and toast decals take it to a new level. These are water decals that come from YRNAILS. this is a nail art website that sells decals, nail tools and polish. I will be having a good look at this website as I love the look of their decals and it is free UK delivery. These particular decals are called Kawaii Breakfast for 26 decals it costs £1.50.

The last item in this months extra cute box were these adorable Happy Cat Nail Clippers, these are small enough that they can fit into your handbag. It is always good to have a file and set of clippers on hand for those darn little hang nails. These come from Blippo, this is a Japanese and Kawaii website that offers free shipping to the UK. These clippers also come in 3 other colours and cost £1.27

Overall I love this box, not only is it cuteness personified but the nail polish colours are perfect for this time of year. I am definitely loving my pastel polish shades right now, finally spring has sprung and I want my nails to scream Spring too. I did win this months box so I didn't have to pay the £20, but I definitely would have. The total off all the goods in this box came to £27.17, which is a saving of £7.17.

I really hope you have enjoyed this swatch and review, Meebox will be announcing April's theme later on today and I can not wait to see what they come up with. For those of you who don't know Meebox is a monthly subscription box, it is £20 per month but can be cheaper if you buy in bulk. I have done some Kawaii nail art which will be posted tomorrow, so hope you come back and check that out.

As always I hope you are all having a fabulous nail day and I will chat to all you lovely people again soon!
