April Meebox- Hitched

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, mine wasn't very eventful just the usual running around after Lexi and spending time with my lovely mum and family. I also received my April Meebox on Friday, so today I will show you what i did with all the goodies I received.

This month the theme was Hitched, inside we had a Mavala French tip manicure set, a Leighton Denny polish, some nail stickers from Miss Cat Nails, a clear jelly stamper and the cherry on top was that beautiful Bundle Monster stamping plate. Lets take a better look at all these goodies good enough for any soon to be bride.

The polish in this months box is from a mainstream brand called Leighton Denny, this is a pretty dusty rose pink with gold shimmer called Breakfast In Bed. This polish is opaque in 2 coats but can become streaky if manipulated too much. It is a nice polish but I think in this case its a not you its me type of situation, I definitely prefer a pop of colour than these muted nude tones. I am not sure of the price for this polish as I can only seem to find it in sets or on Ebay in bundles.

The second polish item in this months box is a French tip manicure set from Mavala, mine was in the colour silver. I did give this a try but it was such a disaster, I don't think it is because of the polishes just my lack of experience in doing a french tip mani. The set consists of a light silvery polish for your tips, a nude pale pink for the rest of your nail and a quick dry top coat. It also came with the french tip guides that you apply to the tip of your nail. You can purchase this set from Feelunique.com for £12.15.

One of the lovely extras in this months box were these beautiful Miss Cat Nails stickers, these silver patterned leaves would look gorgeous on your nails for a wedding day pretty and sophisticated. These are on the Miss Cat Nails site for £1.99.

The last few items that were in the April box made me literally jump up and down like a little girl at Christmas. As you all know I am a massive fan of nail stamping so when I found the Bundle Monster Blogger Collab plate from Elleandish I was over the moon. I have been wanting this plate for such a long time and it was sold out when I did my big Bundle Monster order so I am so happy to have it in my collection now You can buy this plate from Rainbow Connection if you are in the UK for £5 but I think it is sold out at the moment. It is also on the Bundle Monster site for $4.99.

The final item in our hitched boxes was this Clear Jelly Stamper from Clear Jelly stamper, this was the original company who came up with this see through stamper. I actually own quite a few of these now and they have taken my stamping to a whole new level. I would say this one is a medium to firm, it is not quite as squishy as my Born Pretty one but not as firm as my Rainbow Connection one. I must admit I do find it much easier when the actual holder is see through too. You can get these stampers from the Clear Jelly Stamper website for $9.50 which is roughly £6.48.

For my Hitched mani I used my new Bundle monster plate, my Clear stamper and Leighton Denny Breakfast In Bed. I love the way the lace looked over the Rosey gold base colour, and I used the heart with the words love in the middle for my ring finger.

Overall I really liked this box, the polishes were not exactly my sort of thing but the stamping goodies made it my favourite box so far. The full retail value for this box comes to £25.62 and that is without the Leighton Denny added on so it was definitely a great bargain once again. For those of you who don't know Meebox is a monthly nail subscription box where you get lots of nail goodies appropriate for that months chosen theme; I will leave all of their social media links below so you can check them out for yourselves.

I hope you have enjoyed this months Meebox unboxing, I would love to know your thoughts on this box?. Which product was your favourite? As always I hope everyone is having a fab nail day and I will chat to all you lovely people again soon.

  2. I am loving that Leighton Denny polish and I'm not a fan of neutrals. This seems to have more personality than other nudes I've been seeing.

  5. I'm liking that plate! The other stuff isn't my cup of tea. Well, technically I don't stamp, but I still love looking at plates. :)

  6. This is a great box! I hear you on the color choices, I also prefer brighter colors to neutrals like these. The stamping stuff makes the box worth it! Great post. :)
