PiCture POlish Spring Shades- Swatch & Review

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. After an emotionally draining week, I spent most of my weekend relaxing and with family. We had a fiasco with Lexi and some balloons from McDonalds, my daughter is now obsessed with balloons or as she likes to call them baloo's. For today's post, I have a new to me brand PiCture POlish, I have used some of these shades in some recent nail art in this post. But now is the time for these beauties to shine all by themselves, so let's jump in.

I had heard nothing but rave reviews for PiCture POlish, and after receiving these beauties from my boyfriend for our 7 year anniversary I can see why. I picked out three of the shades that were released for Spring 2016, and all three are stunning.

First up is Bluebird this polish is a collaboration between PiCture POlish and Kelli Marissa, who is a Youtuber that makes plenty of nail art videos. I love her channel so when I saw she had created her own polish I knew I had to grab it if I could.

Bluebird is a periwinkle blue with a gorgeous micro holographic shimmer, this also has a gorgeous pink shift to it.

I found it so hard to really capture that pink shift, but it is absolutely stunning and does transfer from the bottle to the nail. This takes two coats to be completely opaque and is so easy to work with the formula is like butter, it applies so smoothly and evenly.

Next up is Spring this is one my favourite shades of pink so I knew the minute it was released I was going to need this polish.

Spring is a barbie pink scattered holographic, this is such a beautiful polish not only for the Spring months but also for summer. When I took this polish off all I wanted to do was put it straight back on, definitely a favourite for me.

Again the formula was amazing to work with and built up to be fully opaque in 2 coats, that pretty scattered holo is amazing when out in the sunlight. This polish just looks so lovely and girly on the nails, perfect for all pink lovers out there.

The last polish in my PiCture POlish haul is Gala, this is such a hard polish to describe colour wise it definitely is a blurple colour that leans more blue against my skin tone, I have been loving this shade lately, it incorporates two of my favourite colours into one.

Gala is a blurple scattered holographic. I think this one could be worn all year round as it is both light and dark, so it would work for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

This was another easy to apply 2 coater polish, I really love this one it is quite unique to my collection. The scattered holo takes it to the next level when you are out in the sunshine.

Overall for my first three PiCture POlishes I have tried, I was absolutely impressed by what a great formula each and every one of these polishes had. The hype that surrounds this indie brand is definitely well deserved, they are based in Australia all of their polishes are 5 free, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. There are many different stockists for PiCture POlish, these three came in a Harlow and Co haul but you can also purchase them from Rainbow Connection, Live, Love, Polish. Color4Nails and from PiCture POlish direct. I will leave links to the PiCture POlish website and their social media accounts down below.

I can definitely say these will not be the last PiCture POlishes that I try, there are plenty more I have on my lemming list and once I have the funds I will definitely be picking a few more of them up. I would love any recommendations you fellow nail addicts can give to me? Let me know down in the comments if there is a must have shade I should pick up.

As always have a great nail day and I will chat to all you wonderful people again soon.

  11. I'm a picture polish holic, they are my most fave brand ever and I can't see that changing anytime soon after the new collection that's just been released. You definitely need to get a hold of Alice hun it's amazing, plus they collaborated with our very own Rainbow Connection for that one (not that i'm biased as to where I buy my polishes from lol) I have another one called Moscow that I find to be a very nice polish for Autumn and Winter. And if it's glitter you're after you can't beat Dorothy or Scarlett for me. Great swatches hun, these are deffo going on my lemming list. xxx
