Rio Meebox Mani

Hello, my lovely readers, I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all those amazing people following me on Instagram. Over the weekend I hit 1000 followers and I am over the moon to know that there are so many amazing people out there who like my nail art. Today's post is a brand new nail technique to me, the dry brush method. So let's jump in.

For this mani I used all three polishes from July's Meebox, I don't really know if this is a Rio-themed mani but I loved how this turned out. 

First I applied 1 coat of Color Club French Tip as my white base coat, I then picked up Models Own Luis Lemon and wiped as much of the polish off the brush as I could, I used what was left and swiped it across my nails. 

I did the same with Morgan Taylor: Later Aligator and Trust Fund Beauty: Denim with Diamonds. I then used Pueen Geo lover 01 for the stamping. This reminded me of a mosaic or a stained glass window. I love the effect of the dry brush method and definitely want to give this a go with a different colour palette. Like I said I am not sure if this is really a Rio-themed manicure but I do love how all three of the Meebox polishes combined together. 

Let me know what you think of my first dry brush mani, have you used this technique? I love how simple but effective it is no need for sponges or nail art brushes. All you need is your bottles of polish and your imagination.
