26 Great Nail Art Idea's- Lilac, Pink and Gold
Welcome back lovelies, I hope you have all had a nice week all has been quite chilled here. Today's post is another addition to the Crumpets Nail Tart's 26 Great Nail Art Idea's challenge, I am loving doing this nail art challenge this year, makes me try techniques and colour combinations I wouldn't have thought of by myself.
This week the prompt was to use a colour combination of lilac, pink and gold, it was perfect for me as pink and any type of purple are my favourite polishes to wear.
Princess Nail Lacquer Jasmine
This gorgeous baby pink creme is from Princess Nail Lacquers 2016 Spring collection, this was so close to being a one coater but I did use 2 for my swatches. The formula was really nice to work with, no streaking and levelled out really nicely. This polish will also stamp really nicely, and I am hoping to see if it watermarbles soon too. I don't think this polish is available anymore, I am definitely regretting not getting full-size bottles of this collection,
For the gold and lilac, I first put on a sprinkling of Butter London Stratford Honey, which is a clear base polish full of gold micro glitters. I wasn't a big fan of this one as it was very base heavy and not much glitter was placed on the nail just by brushing (need to invest in China Glaze Gold Enchantment I think). Then for the stamping, I used Lina Nail Art Supplies Make Your Mark 04, which I purchased from Nail Art UK two days ago. I double stamped the xoxo image with which and lilac stamping polish.
So there we have it my next mani for the challenge, I wasn't sure I liked this at first but it is definitely growing on me. I am looking forward to seeing everyone else's mani's, they will be linked in the In-Linkz down below.
As always have a fabulous nail day and a great weekend, I will chat to you all again soon.
