Pretty Serious Pastel Pet Names Collection- Swatch & Review

Welcome back my lovelies, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I had my usual Sunday Roast and thoroughly enjoyed it, not much else went on this weekend mostly just household chores and some swatching. Today's post is long overdue, I have had these polishes for nearly a year and they have been sitting in my Helmer unswatched. As we are now in Spring I wanted to make sure I got these swatched this year, so let's take a look at the Pretty Serious Pastel Pet Names collection.

This collection consists of six beautifully bright pastel creme polishes, these stamp as well as watermarble and are perfect for this time of year. The names of these polishes are so cute, my fiance calls me Noodle so I really love a special pet name.

Fluffykins

This beauty is a bright pastel pink creme, fully opaque in 2 coats and really lovely to apply. Even though most of these polishes are pastels they did not have a streaky formula and were extremely opaque, not too thick or thin really nice and levels out smoothly.

Bunny Foo Foo

The second polish is definitely one of my favourites from the collection, Bunny Foo Foo is a pastel mint creme which leans more blue than green. Another 2 coater polish with a fabulous formula, a great polish for Spring. I love a good mint in the Spring time, but this is definitely bright enough that you could easily wear this in the summer too.

Little Duckling

Now we come the pastel yellow from the collection, I was completely prepared to have to sit down and deal with a streaky yellow polish. But that was not the case with this one, it was fully opaque in 2 coats, a total amazing surprise to me. The formula was lovely to work with and it wasn't too streaky either, I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a pastel yellow creme.

Peachy Poo

The next polish definitely leans more towards a summer shade in my eyes, Peachy Poo is a peach creme that is fully opaque in 3 coats. Not sure whether that was due to my error or because I used slightly thinner layers. I am never quite sure if this colour suits my skin tone, maybe if I had a bit of a tan I might like it better.

Doodle Bug

Doodle Bug is the brightest from the collection, a gorgeous bright sky blue creme, fully opaque in 2 coats and lovely to apply. I love this colour, not just for Spring or Summer, I could wear this one all year round.

Cutie Patootie

The last polish from this beautiful collection is Cutie Patootie, a gorgeous lavender pastel creme. Another fabulous formula, fully opaque in 2 coats and no issues with streaking. A really pretty colour, especially for Spring.

Overall I was blown away by this collection, with most pastels I was expecting to have streaky formula's and 3 coaters. But they were all so lovely to apply and really opaque, these polishes are great for water marbling and stamping as well as blending lovely in gradients. I would definitely say if you are looking for a Spring collection of creme's then this collection is worth the money.

Pretty Serious are an Australian indie brand all of their polishes are 5 free and cruelty-free. All of the polishes I have tried from this brand have been fantastic,  their formula's are lovely to work with and a breeze to apply. This collection is still available from the Pretty Serious website, and I believe there are a few of the shades in stock on Rainbow Connection. I will leave links to Pretty Serious and their social media down below as well as UK stockist Rainbow Connection.

I would love to know what your thoughts are on this collection, which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments down below.

As always have a fabulous nail day lovelies and I will chat to you all again soon.

  12. Except for the US and Canada and a bunch of different nations, whenever you travel from a nation with a HIGH Frequency OF RABIES to a THIRD Nation, a blood titre test will be required, your pet must be smaller scale chipped and you will require the best possible structures for that nation.Importing pet dogs to Sri Lanka
