Sparklea Nail Polish Carnival Collection- Swatch & Review
Welcome back everyone, I hope you all had a really nice weekend and enjoyed relaxing. Mine, as usual, was pretty uneventful, just the usual Sunday roast and family get together. So we are now in June those sunglasses and shorts are starting to come out of the cupboard and we are stocking up on sun lotion. That can only mean one thing, time to bust out those gorgeous neon polishes, today I have a beautiful summer collection from Sparklea Nail Polish to share with you.
As you can see these are smack you in the face, let's hit the beach type of polishes. If you love bright summer neon polishes that do not need a white base coat, then these are the polishes for you. This collection is called The Carnival Collection, so let's take a closer look.
The first beautiful polish from the collection is called Escapologist, this is a stunning neon bright blue with a beautiful dusting of metallic shimmer. Became fully opaque in 2 coats, no need for a white base and formula was lovely to work with, definitely one of my favourites from the collection.
If you are looking for a bright neon lime green with a metallic shimmer, then you need Ghost Train. This was another 2 coater polish with a lovely formula, this colour really pops off the nail and is perfect as we transition from Spring to Summer.
The next beauty from this collection is a neon plurple with a metallic shimmer, this one definitely leans between purple and pink for me. A really gorgeous polish fully opaque in 2 coats and no need for a white base, I can definitely see wearing this on a summer afternoon.
Couldn't have a neon collection without have a bright in your face orange, this is a neon orange with a gold metallic shimmer. A really beautiful polish for all of those summer beach days coming up, fully opaque in 2 coats and another lovely formula to apply.
Hook A Duck
We are always looking for that perfect neon yellow to wear on our nails, especially in the Summer. Hook A Duck does come pretty close, it is a neon yellow with a metallic shimmer fully opaque for me in 3 coats. You might get away with 2 if you do thicker coats, the formula was nice to work with though no issues with streaking which is rare for any yellow polish.
The last polish I have to share with you today is probably my favourite from the collection. I am sure you had guessed already that this would be my number one. Candyfloss is a neon pink with a metallic shimmer, and oh my god I am in love. I want to wear this every day all day, another 2 coaters with a lovely formula.
Overall I am totally in love with this collection, it is perfect for summer has a really nice theme and the formulas are a breeze to apply. Lea has knocked it out of the park yet again with these, I am thinking I may need some full-size bottle as I don't think these minis will last me long. The full collection is sold out at the moment, but will hopefully be restocked soon. The mini's are £3.50 (5ml) and the full-size bottles are £6 (10ml). I will leave links to the Sparklea Nail polish store down below as well as all their social media.
Which of these beautiful neons is your favourite? I would definitely have to go for Candy Floss and Escapologist, I did not want to take those two off.
As always my lovelies have a fabulous nail day and I will chat to you all again soon.
