Mani And Lola Debut Box- Unboxing & Review

Welcome back my lovelies, I hope you all have a really nice weekend. We have had an icky bug circling our house for the past week, so things have been going a bit slower than normal. For today's post I have a brand new UK nail subscription service called Mani and Lola, this comes from the people who are behind Nail Polish Direct. So let's take a look at what we were supplied with in the very first box.

This first box was definitely a great start up kit, you are given 8 items which include two nail polishes and 6 nail care items. They have made sure you have everything you need to achieve a step by step fabulous looking mani. Let's start off by looking at the beautiful nail polishes.

Zoya Lux

First we have this beautiful pixie dust polish from Zoya, this is Lux it has a light pink base and is filled with chunky glitters. This dries to a textured finish and is my first experience using a textured polish. I used 2-3 coats for full opacity and it was easy to apply to the nails, I would definitely suggest using a peel off base coat with this one so you don't struggle with removal.

OPI Krona-logical Order

The second polish from the box was OPI Krona-logical Order which was recently released in the 2017 Iceland collection. This is a lovely chocolate brown creme, fully opaque in 2 coats and has a lovely formula. This polish is a really great one for Autumn and Winter, I am not normally a brown fan but I surprisingly really enjoyed this one.

Essie Starter Scrub

The first nail care item was this scrub from Essie, they suggest to use this before starting your mani, it will help soften the hands and get rid of any dead skin. I have never had any experience with this scrub before, so I am looking forward to trying this. We also had a nice 180 grit nail file so we can trim up those nails before applying any polish.

OPI Nail Envy

We were also supplied with this OPI nail envy strengthening base coat, I have heard really great things about this so I will give this a go next time I run out of my current base coat.

Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat

You can't have a good starter kit without a good fast drying top coat, so they supplied us with a 3.6ml bottle of Seche Vite. This is a fabulous top coat for both plain manicures and nail art as it does not smear your stamping.

OPI Nail Polish Remover

Next up they supplied us with a 30ml bottle of OPI nail polish remover, I haven't actually tried this one before. But you can never have enough nail polish remover and its a good travel size so great for when you are on the go.

Jessica Phenomenon Cuticle Oil

Finally to make sure those cuticles are kept in good condition they added in some Jessica Phenomenon Oil, this has a really pleasant scent to it and the dropper allows easy application. Again this is a fantastic travel size bottle, so can easily be popped into your purse and applied on the go.

Overall I was absolutely blown away by this box, the packaging was amazing quality and made me even more excited to open it up. The box everything came in can easily be used to store your nail products or nail art items and who doesn't love having extra storage. The two polishes that were supplied were really nice, I was so happy to finally try and Zoya Pixie Dust and really happy to see they chose a recently released OPI polish.

The full price of this box is £20 + £2.95 shipping, and as you can tell you are definitely getting your moneys worth. You can also chose a 3, 6 or 12 months subscription which decreases the monthly charge of the box. I will leave all the details for Mani and Lola down below so you can go check them out.

I would love to know your thoughts?? Which item would you be most excited for? Let me know in the comments.

I am really looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the December box, I am crossing my fingers for slightly more polishes. I did love getting the nail care items but some more mainstream polish colours would be nice too.

Really hope you are all having a nice day and I will chat to you wonderful people again soon.
