Barry M Gelly: Autumn shades 2018

Welcome back everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I am feeling utterly awful at the moment, caught the bug that seems to be going around. So no swatching was done over the weekend, hopefully I will be able to catch up soon. What I do have for you today is some gorgeous new Autumn shades that have been recently added to their Gelly range. Read on to find out more...

I have always loved the formula's of the Barry M Gelly range, they are such nice polishes to work with and most of them do stamp quite nicely too.

Spearmint

The first new addition is 'Spearmint' this is a gorgeous teal toned mint creme, I used 2 coats for my swatches and no need for a glossy top coat as it dries to a gorgeous shiny finish. A really beautiful shade that works perfectly when your transitioning from your Summer neon's to your Autumn deep polishes.

Nutmeg

The second Gelly polish is 'Nutmeg' this is a neural nude creme with a gorgeous pink tone to it, I'm not normally a huge fan of nudes but I really liked this one against my skin tone. In my swatch pics I only needed 1 coat to get this opaque, and no glossy top coat as it dries to that gorgeous hi shine finish.

Ginger

The third polish is 'Ginger' this is a beautiful rusty orange creme, great colour for this time of year. It took 2 coats to be fully opaque for my swatch pics. Another great formula to work with and dries to that super shiny finish.

Rhubarb

If you are looking for the absolute perfect Autumn shade then 'Rhubarb' is definitely it, it is a gorgeous rich berry purple. This was 2 coats for my swatch pics, with a lovely formula. I really loved the colour of this one.

Overall I loved these new additions to the line, they are some great Autumn polishes and most will work all year round. The formula was so nice to work with and all of the polishes applied nicely, there was no issues with staining to the nails or skin.

These beautiful polishes are available now for £3.99 from Boots as well as directly from the Barry M website.

I hope you enjoyed today's post, let me know which of the new shades is your favourite? Coming up this week are some beautiful Danglefoot polishes and the Fall China Glaze collection.
