Polish Con UK Exclusives

Hello my lovely fairies; I hope your week is going well everyone here has come down with a cold so lots of fun mummy duties to be done. Today I have some stunning products to show you from the recent Polish Con UK shop. Unfortunately the event was cancelled due to the pandemic but they still released some limited edition polishes and nail products on their site. Read on to find out more...

The theme for the shop was the 90's and being a 90's baby I obviously had to pick up some of these beauties. Unfortunately these are no longer available so I am so sorry for teasing you.

'Ard As Nails Jawbreaker

'Jawbreaker' is from UK indie brand 'Ard As Nails run by the lovely Kat it has a bright white crelly base packed full of multi-chrome flakies. Shown is 3 coats plus a glossy top coat, the formula was on the thinner side but levelled out well. This polish was inspired by the giant Jawbreakers, which I was a huge fan of when I was a kid.

Nail Artisan Cosmetics Cryptic Furball

'Cryptic Furball' is from UK indie Nail Artisan Costmetics run by the fabulous Alex from Nail Artisan who as i'm sure you are aware I shop with quite regularly. This has a beautiful teal crelly base with shifting UCC flakies. Shown is 2 coats plus a glossy top coat, formula was lovely to work with and easy to apply. This was inspired by the oh so adorable and annoying Furby toys, I loved mine when I was young.

Lacquester 1999

'1999' is made by new to me brand Lacquester this is owned by the lovely Caroline who is based in the Netherlands. It has a stunning deep blurple jelly base with orange/gold shimmer and a sprinkling of holographic glitters. Shown is 2-3 coats plus a glossy top coat, formula was really lovely to work with and no staining. This was inspired by the popular Prince song 1999.

A Certain Becca Lacquer 90's Floral

'90's Floral' is from an upcoming brand made by my best friend A Certain Becca Nails, this is a nourishing cuticle oil with a floral violet scent. It soaks in really fast, leaves no greasy feeling and moisturises the cuticles well. I will have a full review for my besties brand up soon she is hoping to launch in October with a few different amazing scents for you all to try.

Overall a fabulous array of exclusive polishes and products and it was really nice to be able to try some brands I haven't tried before that are inspired by some fun childhood memories. Hopefully there will be a full Polish Con UK event in the future once the world goes back to a more normal state.

I'm not sure I can pick a favourite from the bunch but I was definitely impressed by all of the polishes and formula's worked really well. Make sure you go check out all these fabulous brands and come back to see what awesome scents A Certain Becca Lacquer will be launching soon.

Hope you have enjoyed today's post and you are all staying safe, take care my little fairies.
